Hartland Forest Lodges are nestled in a quiet woodland in Woolsery, North Devon, with a large fishing lake and pathed walks or woodland walks all around. Ideal for people seeking a peaceful break away to relax and unwind, a dog walkers haven, or a base for exploring the amazing North Devon and North Cornwall Coastline and beaches. are the popular seaside towns close by, less than 30 minutes drive

away, or explore the local quieter beaches just 8 minutes drive away! There are two very nice pubs close by approx 2-3 miles away, and Hartland Village is 7 miles away with 4 popular pubs and the famous Hartland Quay a must visit. The lodge is perfectly situated in the corner on the site, very private, with a balcony over looking the woodland and countryside, popular for bird watching...look out for Woody the resident woodpecker, or listen out! The lodge sleeps 4 people with an option for any extra children to use the sofa bed in the lounge. Dogs are welcome, however due to the size of the lodge this is limited to 2 small dogs or 1 large dog. The grounds are not enclosed so dogs will need to remain on leads when outside the lodge.

Visit famous Clovelly, our neighbouring fishing village 🎣 With its steep cobbled paths down to the harbour, donkeys used to be the mode of transport down to the village. Beautiful quaint cottages, pubs, cafes, tea rooms, shops, a brewery and museum. This Village is privately owned so you have to pay to enter, but well worth it for a day out, you may be lucky and see the donkeys on their daily walks or even dolphins in the bay! (NOTE: The path is steep and fully cobbled, if you have limited mobility they run a Land Rover service down during peak seasons). There are some fabulous pubs and restaurants on the seafront here, with outside dining with this view, we recommend The Boat House, booking essential!
