Beaton House

I am childminder based in Old Malden, Worcester Park. I don't post my address for safeguarding. Having Amelie in 2010 was life changing for me. So much fun.....

My name is actually Ilona Louise Beaton, but my mother wasn’t that fond of Ilona and hence I have always been called Iluska. I am a mother of two and a fully qualified childminder, rated by Ofsted as outstanding. I found being a mother so rewarding and fulfilling. We had our second daughter Freya in January 2012, & she proved the love you have for your child doubles and there is just twice as much

joy in the world. The last few years have been truly wonderful, I feel very blessed and now as the girls are growing I feel that the amazing experiences I have had as a mother are valuable as a childminder. I love being around children, they challenge you, make you think, they are funny, caring and full of wonder and that, I truly relish being part of. As childminder I will be able to offer valuable support and a positive environment for them to discover who they are, find their feet in the world & be able to enjoy the journey. I believe by listen to the children they will come up with wonderful things to do, that are both tremendous fun and also incredibly educational. Learning through play!

Currently I have a fab Housesitter looking after the cats and chickens and I am enjoying some Cornish sunshine! (And a wee bit of rain!)

I can’t wait to visit “Taste Of The Caribbean” as many of you know I love to cook and will definitely be trying as much as I can (for research purposes!) to see what inspiration I can get to spice up the wee beans food!

We had a bit of a quite week with lots of teething, recovering from colds and the great British summer wether returning but still lots of learning happening though play! And sometimes it’s nice to slow down and just “chit chat”, have mini massages, practice walking and just hangout and play….

Fun and games! I haven’t posted in a while!
