We recently spent 8 nights at this family favourite - Victoria Beachcomber Resort & Spa, Mauritius.

A four star resort with the big plus being the North West location on a very good stretch of beach. Snorkelling is possible from off the beach but even better if go on one of the resorts snorkelling trips. Plenty of water-sports and evening entertainment mean there is a lively atmosphere especially during the school holidays. Rooms are in need of a renovation which starts May 24 which will make a big difference.

This resort also allows you access to Canionnier and Mauricia Beachcomber resorts which are a short drive away for a change of scene (taxi rides are at customers expense).

Wow 😍😍😍 🇲🇺 - today we had the pleasure to visit Paradis Beachcomber located in the South West of Mauritius and words do not do it justice! I can't express how stunning the beach, service and atmosphere at this resort is. One of the very best resorts on the island ( not just our opinion). In addition it has a fantastic golf course on site 😍😍

We recently visited Canonnier Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa and following a recent renovation we were highly impressed!!

Tend to find people are torn between here and Victoria Beachcomber especially as they are priced very similar. The pool area at Canionnier is smaller, rooms are smaller and in our opinion the beach is not as good however it has some major plus points….it has recently been renovated so the rooms and public areas are of a high standard, service was excellent with lots of happy staff and the food was of a high standard. Victoria starts their renovation May 2024 and that looks like it will make a big difference.

Commanding views over the northern islands and dotted with ancient cannons, Canonnier Beachcomber has a relaxed island charm ideal for couples looking to share precious time together. Tee off for a round of golf at the nearby Mont Choisy Le Golf and enjoy indulgent spa treatments at the enchanting spa located within the branches of an ancient Banyan tree. A short distance from the superb resort restaurants and facilities lies the lively Grand Baie perfect for those looking to get out and explore the rich culture and tantalising street food of Mauritius.

A couple of days ago we were invited to take a look around Mauricia Beachcomber located on the North West coast of Mauritius. This property is a Beachcombers entry hotel, all of which are to a very high standard.

Located in an enviable position right in the heart of lively Grand Baie, Mauricia is perfect for families looking to enjoy the very best of both worlds. Spent an idyllic day today at the five star Trou Aux Biches. So impressed we have looked into amending our holiday to take in a few nights here. We particularly loved the large tropical pool that overlooks the most fantastic beach with fine soft sand. Lunch at La Plage was on the beach inches away from the sea edge. The resort is also only a short drive from Grand Baie meaning you have best of both worlds. Heaven 😍😍😍

Yesterday we enjoyed a brief visit to Veranda Grand Baie a small boutique resort nestled in the heart of the bustling village of Grand Baie perfect as a base for those wanting to spend time exploring the island or wanting a small peaceful retreat.
