TDI Nitrox and Technical Diver Training from a long background of Wreck, Reef, Ocean and Cave Exploration. Experienced based training and safety education.

After 36 years of active diving and cave diving its time to put my experience back into the diving world. I come from a dry caving background and am an examiner and Training Officer Somerset section with the Cave Diving Group. I have worked within the dive industry and run many trips to Wrecks, Reefs and Caves. I am an active Nitrox, Technical, Sidemount and Cave Instructor with TDI. Contact me to

Congratulations to Steve Tye, Michael Carpenter and Mike Edgar for completing TDI Tech Rescue. All had a keenness to work together, learn together and all realised a simple rescue is hard work. A superb team attitude developed by the end with the knowledge gained to continue gaining more knowledge and understanding. Well deserved all.

The Technical and Cave / Mine diving especially in the UK is not easy. Fitness, stamina and strength is a function of diver safety. It pleases me when the annual HSE Medical shows no drop in the numbers even though age continues Inexorably to rise. Let’s do another year 😎

The circle is complete 😎 one of my Indonesian aims was a deep wall dive with Robert Thomas. Today 126m on Tunang wall, Gili Trawangan. A lovely reef to pass the decompression time on. Many Thanks to Robert for organising and guiding. Also many thanks to David Golchin for in water support on deco and the boat crew for helping with equipment and getting us on site in a bit of heavy sea. Robert is still in Indonesia so if wanting guiding or training on some superb Ocean Walls drop him message.
