Welcomed the new flock at Cae Haidd Retreat yesterday 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We now have 6 Welsh ewes and their 10 lambs settling in well. 🐑

Had a lovely lunch here today at Hwb Yr Orsedd with friends. 🥪
Great location if you have kids as you can keep an eye on them in the playground while you have a ☕️ thanks to the lovely large windows.
To top it all the sun even made an appearance ☀️

With the sunshine showing its face, we’ve added a delicious Ploughman’s lunch to our menu. It’s filling and fresh with ‘Hub-made’ chunks of sausage roll on the side, with options for a single portion or a larger sharer plate for two. We hope to see you all this weekend.

Guests at Cae Haidd Retreat can now soak up a little more history when visiting Chester 🏰

Regular opening resumes at Chester Castle next weekend (Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th April). Gates unlock at 11am and close at 3pm, and entry is free of charge. 🏰

Whenever we go away I like to visit local markets - so sharing on here for future guests at Cae Haidd Retreat😊
we haven’t visited yet but planning a trip soon.

Llangollen country market is opening this Friday 11 until 2pm, Memorial Hall, Market Street..
Plenty of home made goods, buy direct from the producers and support your local economy.

The last few days it has felt like Spring has finally sprung here in North Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 😊

To celebrate that we wanted to share some extra special short stay dates that we still have available for direct bookings:

🌼 Mothers Day weekend (Fri 28th March - Mon 31st March) - or stay can be extended..

🌼 Early May Bank Holiday week (Mon 5th May - Fri 9th May) - or stay can be shortened (min 3 nights)
