Faraway Follies The Lodges at Faraway are unique & individual in their character & styling. Offering comfortable and Offering comfortable and yet sophisticated accommodation.

Owl Lodge has a double bedroom with a comfy John Lewis mattress and a sitting room with a pull out Ikea sofa bed that converts to a king size bed. We provide linen for both beds. The kitchen has an under counter larder fridge, full size induction hob, kettle, toaster and combi microwave/oven/grill. There is also a Webber Kettle barbecue outside which you can use. The Dog House has a double bedroom

with a medium firmness Ikea mattress. Egyptian cotton linen is provided along with two towels for each guest. The kitchen has a gas hob, kettle, toaster, microwave and mini oven. Both properties have a Wood burning fire for heating which we provide enough logs to keep it burning for the duration of your stay. We provide enough coffee, tea, sugar and milk to get you going. The shower rooms have constant hot water so you can shower any time of day.

A little bit of leaf art and its gradual decay over a week. This is what you can do when you relax and let go.

A Fraturday at one of Wales greatest little railways - Ffestiniog. There is no better way to see some of the best scenery in Wales than sat in the carriage of one of the numerous narrow gauge railways. A lovely day out from FarawayFollies. Add a bit of tea and cake at one of the station cafes and everyone is happy. A great day out in Wales.

Today’s actual Fraturday experience was completely different than this but I thought we all need something a little more gentle after storm Babet so here’s a simple stroll around St Dyfnog’s Well in Llanrhaeadr. A really magical place to go a sit in peace and on top of that you can pick up a lovely bit of pottery like we have in the lodges from Anvil Pottery while you’re there. You can take a dip in the healing waters too. It’s about 35 minutes drive from FarawayFollies. Enjoy!
