Our Visitor Information Centre assistants are incredibly helpful and what they don't know about Wrexham just isn't worth knowing. Pick up the phone or pop in for helpful ideas and information about things to see and do. Everything from arts classes and theatre shows to festivals and concerts. From museums and heritage sites to restaurants and country parks. The VIC will provide a wide range of ser

vices six days a week with:

From 28th November to 1st December, the Victorian Christmas Market is back with some exciting new changes!

Explore St Giles Church, and stroll up to the High Street, where charming wooden cabins offer a delightful array of bespoke gifts, handmade crafts and delicious seasonal treats. Enjoy Victorian-themed entertainment and workshops, and hands-on activities, perfect for the whole family!

This year the Victorian Christmas Market will run alongside the reopening of the refurbished Butchers’ and General Markets, offering a special four-day experience to kick off the festive season!

The 18-22nd November is Wales' Ambassador week and we're aiming to create 50 new Wrexham Tourism Ambassadors this month!

Anyone who is passionate about our local area can sign up for free and become an official Wrexham Ambassador by completing three short online modules (taking about 30-mins each).

🌼 Wrexham in Bloom Childrens Competition 2024 🚲

Look around the City to find all of decorated bikes, alongside the bike will be a card with a number on it. Write down the number in the space provided on this form, then fill in your details on the back of this form and hand the form back into the Visitor Information Centre. All entries will be put into a draw and five winners will be randomly picked and notified on the 16th September 2024. Entry forms to be in by the 9th September 2024. This competition is open to children under 16 years of age. Don't worry if you can't find all of the bikes as long as you have taken part you can go into the draw.

The sign over the door might say 'visitor', but the door is open to everyone. In fact, half of Wrexham VIC's customers are people who live in the county borough. Our VIC assistants are incredibly helpful and, between them, they have over 50 years' experience. What they don't know about Wrexham just isn't worth knowing. Pick up the phone or pop in for helpful ideas and information about things to see and do. Everything from arts classes and theatre shows to festivals and concerts. From museums and heritage sites to restaurants and country parks. And in our new centre opening in late September 2020, there’ll be a wide range of local food & drink produce, cookery demonstrations and much more!
