Important Update: Wroxham Bridge Pilot Service

We’d like to inform you about a change to our bridge pilot service at Wroxham Bridge. While we’ll no longer be providing this service for all hire craft, Norfolk Broads Direct customers will still enjoy free pilot assistance when tidal conditions allow.

This decision reflects changes in water levels at the bridge and the growing demand for larger holiday cruisers. We’re also working closely with other hire operators to support their customers wherever possible.

Thank you for your understanding as we adapt to these evolving conditions. We remain dedicated to delivering memorable boating holidays on the Norfolk Broads. 💛

Bringing the Queen of the Broads into the wet shed to have it's clean and overhaul. It's really narrow so some excellent manoeuvring by one of our skippers. Hopefully you enjoy seeing what we get up to during Winter.... a bit of very satisfying pressure washing coming up soon....

Winter isn't quite done with us yet!! Its still beautiful here in Wroxham and the suns on its way back after this rather heavy hailstorm today!!

We are still busy doing our Winter tasks! This time a little time lapse video of a re pack of a life jacket. They have had a wash, a full check and a new gas cylinder. Then they're re packed and stored ready for you all to use when you visit us. Safety is vitally important at NBD. So that's one done, only 499 to go .... Yup you heard it right ..!! 😳 best get going then.
