Statement re the transport of so called stolen horses

I moved two horses today which I have moved once before. To a well known livery yard and location. Theses horses had the relevant passports for transportation and was the same person I dealt with before. I fail to see why if these horses are supposed to be stolen, why they would use a legitimate transporter, with my livery all over my box! And take them to a very well know livery yard. The person involved is the ex partner of the owner of theses horses. It is a civil issue. Which I have now unfortunately been involved in. I have said I will quite willingly cooperate with the police, if indeed these horses are stolen! Which I don’t believe them to be.

Horse owners beware! Yelverton/ Shaugh prior area.

A yard owner in Shaugh prior, was approached by two men with an Irish accent, asking if her horses were for sale. Please be vigilant everyone. They were driving a white transit van.

JINGLE BELLS ALL THE WAY

we attended Lovaton Christmas fun showing show today, with this lovely Shetland trio. Two of which are aptly named for this time of the year. Blitzen (the littl bay) and the very very adorable and too cute little Foal Jingle. With her aunty Ming. We also had to include a phot of the fab.pairing of Jingle and her newly found friend a beautiful coloured cob. A larger version of herself.

We spent a morning at Tall Trees Arena.

It was this little yearlings first time out, without his mum! And first time to travel. He took it all in his stride! And could be left in the box on his own with the partition put to the front, so he could stand free. While his little friend had her turn in the ring.

Airs and Graces!!!

Just Occasionally, very occasionally, I do something for myself and I was persuaded by the lovely Anne Richards(who groomed and washed and took pics for me) to go to the Burrator Show, with my ponio!! Who as you can see was not always a good girl in the ring with her display of airs above the ground. But she did me proud and won two firsts and a third and I won a first with her doing in hand handy pony! (mind you I just about needed CPR afterwards I have not run so fast for a very, very long time, probably school!!) It was a timed event!! I apologise for the pic that looks like I was about to conduct an orchestra, I was trying to get her to put her ears forward!

STUD SEASON

Stud season is here! Our box is ideally suited for the safe carriage of mare's and foals together or just foal's or young stock on their own, especially if they have never been tied or traveled before. It can be turned into a stable like compartment which aides towards a less stressful experience for first time traveller's. Also Ideal for stallions, as the box has full height partitions and no breast bar, and is completely enclosed. It is especially useful if you have an equine, that insists on trying out it's acrobatic skills while travelling as there is no breast bar or partition to leap over!! This box is made by Theault, which pride themselves on safety and superb design. Their boxes are used by professional riders, racehorse trainers and transporters throughout the world.

Please ring for a no obligation quote. We are always happy to hear from you.

If everyone, It seems that some of you have contacted me on messenger request. Or you could ring my home phone no, where my secretary(Dad)lol !! will take down the details and relay it to me later. I always aim to answer everybody, but sometimes things do get through the net!

Lad and Vicky's first outing!

Meet Vicky and Lad. Lad is a Irish sport horse. When Vicky saw Lad about four years ago, It was love at first sight. He is a lovely horse with a fantastic nature. Unfortunately for Lad he has had many health issues, resulting in countless vet visits and therapy. He was lame or unlevel, and was found to have kissing spines, and a ligament problem in his fore leg, so Lad was operated on for his kissing spines. The operation was a success, but he still wasn't right. Vicky being Vicky, never gave up on him. She then discovered he had stomach ulcers, so that was treated. All in all it's been a rollercoaster for them both. But eventually Lad got better and eventually he was sound and happy in himself. So yesterday for the very first time, they went to Cholwell to a Dressage clinic being held by Mike and Tori Aylemore. They thoroughly enjoyed their lesson together and to top it all. Mike told them, they would be ready to do their first dressage test! Vicky say's she is lucky to have found Lad, but I think Lad is lucky to have found Vicky! Well done to you both, look forward to seeing you on future outings that doesn't involve a vet visit!

Back to Wales again. This time I went to Chepstow. So over the Welsh bridge I went, made the poor lady in the toll booth stretch to her full extent(and me too) to get my toll charge as I seemed to have positioned myself rather a long from the window!! Then over we went, nice to see the glowing yellow of the Welsh national flower. Spring is truly on it's way! Hoorah. Picked up this beautiful tb who had just finished his career in racing. And will now be enjoying a different kind of life down here in Devon. Good luck to him and his new owner!
