Our Story
Welcome to our Yeovil Tourist Information Centre & South Somerset Tourist Information Centre, Cartgate.
There’s so much to see and do in South Somerset and we’re here to help you get the most out of your time in this glorious area. With enchanting historic houses, beautiful gardens, world-class museums, bustling towns and pretty villages, not to mention our cider and cheese infamy of course.
Our Yeovil information centre is located just inside Petters House in the Connect area at South Somerset District Council. We’re official ticket agents for National Express, Berrys Coaches and South West Coaches. You will also find a selection of useful local leaflets, guides and transport timetables, and offer many events and attractions at discounted prices when you buy direct from both of our centres. Our Yeovil centre is open Mon- Fri, all year, 9am-4pm.
At our larger and bustling Cartgate centre, you’ll find a wide selection of brochures, leaflets and maps as well as a delightful gift shop offering many unique and locally crafted gifts, OS maps, souvenirs and local produce. Open 10am-3pm, Mon & Fri only, Nov - March. Winter Season. Spring/ Summer 2020, 7 days a week.
