Former YMCA "British Boys for British Farms" held a poignant reunion at North Cadbury Court on 23rd May. It marked ten years since their first reunion here in May 2014, which was filmed by the BBC's Countryfile, a very special occasion for everyone.

North Cadbury Court is part of a working farm. Cattle often graze the parkland, but now we are cutting silage for the cows in advance of preparing the area for placing yurts around the yacht club later in the summer.

One of the many quirks of the court is that the front and the back look like totally different houses. A grand original 1580 Elizabethan entrance, with a south facing 1760 Georgian addition from at the rear - which includes the sublime ballroom. This fabulous video illustrates the difference perfectly.

We are delighted to be hosting a very special event on Thursday, 25th April, supporting our great friend Guy Deacon MBE in his efforts to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson's sufferers.

Guy will be in conversation with actor Hugh Bonneville about his remarkable 2023 overland trip from Sherborne in Dorset to Cape Town in South Africa. The former solider drove solo down the west coast of Africa across 25 countries, covering 18,000 miles in 12 months, using the journey to highlight the experiences of people like him who suffer from the debilitating disease.

Thank you to everyone who supported our gala dinner to raise funds for North Cadbury Primary School.

The amount raised for new classrooms now stands at an amazing £17,000 - due in no small part to your efforts and the support of local businesses.

Cottages in the Coach House can be rented separately for weekends and holidays. Each one comes equipped with full kitchen facilities and is offered on a self catering basis.

We provide a breakfast hamper of delicious and home made local produce delivered on the first day of your stay, which is included in the price. Each house also has its own BBQ and outdoor area for dining al fresco.

North Cadbury CofE Primary School will be celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2025. It’s planning to mark this occasion by building new, bright and modern classrooms for the children.

A fundraising dinner has been organised at the court this weekend, during which there will be a silent auction. It’s open to anyone to bid on and the link can be found on this website.

Our four lovely Coach House cottages are: The Carriage House, The Stables, The Horse Stalls and The Tack Room. They all have an equestrian theme, for obvious reasons! Can be rented separately for holidays and weekend get togethers, each one sleeps 7/8 people and well behaved dogs are welcome.

People have been asking us how far away our four cottages are from the court. The Coach House is shown here in the bottom right corner of the picture and is just outside our main gates.

They are very convenient as overflow accommodation, as we can now sleep 80 on site, or they can be rented as separate holiday/weekend homes.

Stylishly refurbished offering high end rural luxury retreats which combine comfortable open plan modern living with state of the art fixtures and fittings.

The Coach House is next to the 15th century historic village church and respectfully retains the character and many features of the original old stone stables, the cast iron horse stalls can now be seen on the walls as decoration.
