rborough, and Whitby or the cliffs at Bempton, famous for the sea birds. It is the perfect location for a trip to the beautiful historic city of York, only 15 minutes away, to spend a day in York or go to the famous York races. With a wealth of history on the doorstep visit the stately homes at Castle Howard, Beningbrough Hall, Sledmere House, or Burton Constable. Visit the pretty market towns of Malton (Yorkshire’s Food Capital), Beverley (arrange a guided tour of the Minster roof), or Helmsley with Duncombe Park. There are no direct public transport services to the Park, but taxis are available from Pocklington to link up with the bus network to York, Stamford Bridge, Hull, Beverley, Bridlington on the coast and beyond!
