Our beautiful home town...
Historically host to 365 pubs - one for every day of the year...it's actually more like 450 plus these days...and counting
but there's something particularly special about the Riverside bars, pubs and nightlife for me
Chasing down the Ice-cream boat on a summer's evening, enjoying an ice cold white wine before the theatre or a home-made pic-nic with your feet dangling in the water...it's the perfect spot
And that's one of the main reasons we chose to take a massive risk on our beautiful 'Riverside Suites' house. "Don't do it!" everyone said..."it'll flood!"
but I was already in love with this old Victorian building and determined to unlock the potential...
speaking of which...we've had a busy night with our lovely joiner (Shauny Prawny) as the children like to call him, due to his love of seafood!
Exciting plans are being put together for what could be York's 451st (?!) bar...
