Who are we?

York Horror Tour, grim and gruesome gore galore! in this historical terror trail. Tours begin 6:45pm from Ye Old Shambles Tavern every night and are £5 for adults, £2 for children. Experience this city from a new perspective and gain insight you never even considered, with each guide giving a different version of the show.

Ghostly Tales at the Golden Fleece is a story telling evening held every Thursday at 7pm in the function room of the Golden Fleece. It is a little more haunting than the Terror Trail. Adults are £10 and children are £5, including a drink at the bar.

Nightshade Productions is a York based theatre company first and foremost and aside from the tour and ghost stories we hold many shows across the city. Throughout the years we have taken audiences through a Dickensian, Victorian Christmas, the mind of Sherlock Holmes and a night in midsummer in Shakespeare’s dreams, and we are planning to take you, the audience, on a great many more adventures.
