Ivy Cottage is a traditional granite Grade II listed Cornish cottage in Zennor, within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Built in the 1800s it has an abundance of traditional charm, sea views and a luxurious cosy interior.

Ivy Cottage is nestled in the beautiful village of Zennor, on the North West Coast of Cornwall. Zennor is steeped in history, being inhabited since the Bronze Age (around some 4000 years ago) and home to the medieval church of St Senara famed for its legend of the Mermaid of Zennor. Surrounded by granite buildings and cottages and only a short stroll to the infamous 700 year old Tinner's Arms pub, Zennor is your ideal escape from a busy life. With the South West Coast Path on its doorstep, you can enjoy a stunning coastal walk to the award winning Gurnards Head restaurant in one direction and St Ives with its glorious beaches and bustling cobbled streets in the other. With some of the most beautiful and spectacular coastline in the country, Ivy Cottage is the perfect retreat for couples, honeymooners, families and walkers.

If you love swimming in salty sea water but the sea is too cold for you, then a visit to the geothermal Jubilee Pool in Penzance is a must. To be be able to float around in warm sea water whatever the weather is such a treat! You can book tickets on-line and there is also the huge salt water pool which is a few degrees warmer than the sea, for the brave.

Built in 1935 and with its original art deco design its recognised as one of the finest surviving lidos still in operation. It's also one of five remaining seawater lidos in the UK today.
