We can’t really describe the heartbreak. Our beautiful home and apartment ravaged by hurricane Beryl. We are not alone or even remotely the worst off after this disaster but it will take some coming back from. Not just property damage and destruction either, the island has been stripped of vegetation and looks like a barren wasteland.

A new underwater sculpture exhibition called "A World Adrift," created by an artist from Kent, is set to open in the Caribbean.

“Positioned in Carriacou, located to the north of the island of Grenada in the Caribbean Sea, the artwork pays homage to the island's history of boat building and will be placed approximately three to five meters deep, making it ideal for snorkelling or diving.”

Very true - but Kayaks please, not Carriacouans🤣 and doubtful that the population is quite as high as 10,000 but who knows?! You can also fly from Heathrow with Virgin.

Our recent house guests at Castaways have now returned to the wonderful Carriacou Animal Hospital. Our own 3 month old little rescue dog Molly made sure they were well looked after ❤️🥰. We hope you all find loving forever homes and have happy lives, little ones.
