Today a four year old post came up on facebook on a trip I did with Henry Safari going up Tufton Hall River. I was going to share it here but it would not due to some security setting. It got me thinking that the going up the Tufton Hall River is perhaps the essence of Henry Safari. He is a real explorer. This hike takes you miles back in the most beautiful river valley, well away from any hint of civilization. I very much doubt any other taxi driver will bring you here or that you will see any tourists (we did once meet some hashers out on a walk). I have been up with Henry three or four times, and am posting some pictures to give an idea of how it is. This is a tough hike, and you have to be fit, but not exceptionally so. The last time I did it I was over 70 years old.
