Camp Borjomi

Camp Borjomi Tent accommodation for backpackers located at the finish point of Trail No. 12 (Black trail) of the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. Yoga retreats.

A private campsite with accommodation in 8, 6 or 2 person tents. You can bring your own tents as well or even park your car inside. A natural stream flows through the campsite. Fruit trees like apples, local plums "chanchuri" are also available where campers could try them. Rosehip plants for tea are in the area too. This campsite can be booked privately for stag nights, hen nights, team-building,

school summer camp, hikers and campers or just an adventurer at heart. When you stay at the campsite, you can also book your horse-riding tours, Vardzia cavetown, Rabati Castle, Bakuriani and Borjomi tours, rafting. Campsite is recommended for yoga retreats, tai chi and other holistic arts practice, company team-building, eco seminars and other events. The first campsite to offer mountain boarding in Georgia.

We had the Estonian Tai Ji (Tai Chi) team at the campsite for 5 days practicing.

Hi everyone!

We are now fund-raising to support our little campsite by offering tours in Borjomi, Vardzia, Akhaltsikhe and Bakuriani. Part of the tour costs will go to the purchasing of materials for the shelters and facilities.

Tours are divided into 3 parts:
Day 1 Vardzia cavetown,Kertvisi Castle ruins, Akhaltsikhe's Rabati Castle
Day 2 Bakuriani winter resort, cable cars, ski lifts, snow train. Saint Seraphim's church.
Day 3 Borjomi. Borjomi-Kharagauli national park, Likani old church ruins, Museum of Local Lore, Borjomi Park, a dip in the therapeutic water pools.

Accommodation is in the following guesthouses:
85 Meskheti Likani Guesthouse Borjomi
Makvala's Guesthouse Borjjomi (both are on the way to the national park entrance)
Camp Borjomi grounds, We will provide the tents.

These can be shuffled accordingly as per availability of the guests or just one or two tours can be chosen.

And now we are doing the Kakheti Wine Tour. Wine Tasting and churchkhela making as part of the options in the vineyard.

A regular summer program of free English and Arts lessons for the village children are in the pipeline. You can also support by donating your old English books and perhaps some school supplies as you join.
