ONE-DAY SIGHTSEEING TOUR AROUND TBILISI

After breakfast visit of the largest historical museum of Georgia, this holds many shrines, works of art and archeological finds.
The temple Metekhi (V-XII in) where are based St. parts of one of the Georgian great martyr Shushanik, killed by her fire worshipper husband in the V century BC. Here many times prayed the queen Tamar.
Narikala fortress (IV in) – soul of Tbilisi. The whole city is in front of it on the palm. In the territory of a citadel there is St. Nicholas temple.

Sioni Cathedral (VI-XII in) - constructed for the sake of an Assumption of the Mother of God - one of the most known monuments of the old city, named called in honor of the Jerusalem Sion, where the St. cross of an enlightener of Georgia, St. Nino, is stored.
Walking through the ancient streets of the city visiting the square of three churches, a place where nearby coexist the Orthodox Church, Synagogue and Mosque.
Shardeni Street is a favourite place of pastime for residents.
Theater of puppets, with the monuments of heroes of the works of Niko Pirosmani and wellknown sculptural work of Berikebi.
Holy Trinity Cathedral is one of the greatest structures of the last century.

Day 1-Meeting at the airport and a transfer in hotel.
After rest walking across evening Tbilisi.
Dinner in ancient part of the city with the Georgian ethnic cuisine.
Overnight in Tbilisi hotel.
Day 2-After breakfast visit the sights of Tbilisi –an ancient historical part of the city and the modern city. At first we will visit Turtle Lake. it is a small lake at the outskirts of Tbilisi, so named due to the perceived abundance of turtles living in these places. Visit the ethnographic museum of Georgia (open-air museum )where you could see Georgia in a miniature. There are houses with the ethnography from different regions of Georgia. Afther walking tour across old Tbilisi: The rise by a ropeway on citadel Narikala. Narikala fortress (IV in) – soul of Tbilisi. The whole city is in front of it on the palm. The sulfuric baths are well known around the world - a favorite place of visitors, Where it is possible to take a bathe in sulfuric sources with the relevant service – Kisa (the specific massage in sulfuric baths). Dinner at the restaurant.
Overnight in Tbilisi in hotel.
Day 3-After breakfast departure by the main Georgian military road to Kazbegi (150km) and enjoy some spectacular panoramic views of the great Georgian landscape. On the road visit Ananuri fortress (XVI c). After travel Gudauri, remarkable ski resort in Georgia. It is located at the altitude 2200 meters above the sea level. The first, lower lift station is at 1,990 m above sea level and the last, top station is at 3,306 m, called summit Sadzele. The resort offers high quality skiing opportunities. Time for lunch. From Gudauri continue your trip to Gergeti trinity church (XII-XIV) century’s monument erected on the southern slopes of Mkinvarcveri is located at an altitude of 2170 meters. Gergeti Trinity church is an important temple and remarkable for its beautiful scenery. The Gergeti Trinity church is set poignantly on a hill directly below the towering white massif of Mount Kazbek ( 5033 meters). Built six hundred years ago its stones have weathered repeated blizzards, rain and invasion to stand as a proud symbol of Georgian resilience in the face of adversity. It is the photographer’s perfect shot. In case of desire it is possible to pass across Dariali Gorge to border of the Russian Federation. Overnight in the hotel in Kazbegi.
Day 4-After breakfast we are going to Borjomi. On the way visit ancient capital of Georgia - Mtskheta.
The cross monastery – Jvari (VI c) stands on the rocky mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari (Kura) and Aragvi rivers, overlooking the town of Mtskheta. Lunch in the tavern”Salobie” where you can taste the Lobio (The beans)prepared in small bean pots of clay with mchadi (a flat cake from cornmeal), all sorts of a pickles, khachapuri, shish kebab, khinkali.
Departure to the Gori direction for visit Uplistsikhe Cave Town-Fortress - an ancient rock-hewn town.
In case of desire it is possible to visit Stalin's house museum in Gori. Arrival in Borjomi Check-in and over night in hotel in Borjomi.
Day 5-After breakfast visit Borjomi park, with a tasting of natural mineral waters.
The rise by cable car to the observation platform, from which you can enjoy views of the Borjomi Gorge. Further the direction to Akhaltsikhe city to visit a medieval castle complex –Rabati . The fortress was built in the 13th century and was completely reconstructed in 2011-2012. Rabati castle developed under the influence of the different cultures over subsequent centuries and this is reflected in its architecture. Within the 7 hectares castle complex there is a Church, a Mosque, a Minaret and a Synagogue. Lunch on the road in cafe in Borjomi.
Return to Tbilisi.
Overnight in hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 6-After breakfast departure to Kakheti- the homeland of wine.
Arrival to Telavi through the Gombori pass - Sights of Telavi (Palace of King Irakli)
Visiting Alexander Chavchavadze homestead in Tsinandali. There is an unique park of XIX-century with the most rare instance of flora, an enoteca with a set of unique ancient and vintage wines in the homestead. Further the direction to Kvareli lake. It is a beautiful place with outstanding views. Late lunch at the restaurant (the Tradition Georgian Kakhetian cuisine). Return to Tbilisi.
Overnight in hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 7-After breakfast visit Tbilisi Botanical garden, a wonderful place suitable for various activities including nature exploring, mini-hiking, kid's leisure or just relaxing. Beautiful sights, waterfall, interesting architecture in the surrounding. it is a place where you can sit, relax and enjoy the nature. After walking across Tbilisi streest and have a free time for shopping. Lunch in cafe.. Overnight in hotel in Tbilisi.

Classic Tour

1st Day

After breakfast, visit attractions of Tbilisi –the old historical part of the city and the modern city. Golden Foundation of Museum of Art, which holds the unique gold products and world famous icons of the ancient period.
Walking tour to the old Tbilisi: Rise up on the cableway to the citadel of Narikala. Known worldwide sulfur baths -beloved place which Pushkin and Alexander Dumas were visiting, where you can bathe in the sulfur springs; Area 3 churches where peacefully coexist Christian church, a mosque and a synagogue.
Climbing by the narrow gauge railway to Mount Mtatsminda (Holy Mountain), where stands the church St.David built by one of the Assyrian fathers - father Davidom.Here is the grave of Griboedov and his beautiful wife Nino Chavchavadze with a unique inscription on the tombstone.
A visit to the ethnographic museum of Georgia in the open air, where you can get acquainted with Georgia in miniature. Here are the homes of all parts of our country with its ethnography.

3rd Day

After breakfast departure to Kakheti- the homeland of wine.
Arrival to Telavi through Gombori pass- sightseeing of Telavi ( King Heraclius Palace).
Visiting Alexander Chavchavadze homestead in Tsinandali, here is an unique park, with rare specimens of flora, enoteca with many unique vintage wines.
The museum Tsinandali presented old utensils, gifts received by Nino Chavchavadze by her fiancé Alexander Griboyedov
Departure to Kvareli,visiting the winery of Kindzmarauli corporation with degustation of modern vintage wines. Dinner in the winery ( Georgian- Kakhetian cusine with wine)
Overnight at the hotel Chateau Kvareli or Royal Batoni on the lake.

4th Day

After breakfast visiting the Sighnaghi (50km) - the city of love.
From all parts of the city is visible Alazani Valley, which rests on the Great Caucasus Range. City is impressive with its majestic history. It is surrounded by a double wall with 28 towers. Climbing on any of them, you find that you touch the sky with your hands.
After breakfast drive to Bodbe Nunnery, where is the relics of St. Nino, the enlightener of Georgia. Visiting the church where the tomb of St. Nino is and there is St. Nino’s stream where you can plunge into the the water for the healing of all illnesses.
Return to Tbilisi.
Farewell gala dinner.

5th Day

After breakfast departure to Borjomi. On the way visit the city, carved into the rocks-Uplistsikhe, where people lived 2800-3000 years ago.
If desired, you can visit the house-museum of Stalin in Gori.
Lunch in Gori "Mziuri" restaurant, where you can taste Georgian national dishes.
Arrival in g.Borzhomi (77 km), where often came to rest members of the Russian imperial family and cultural figures: Maxim Gorky, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Georgy Dimitrov and others.

6th Day.

After breakfast, visit Borjomi Park and tasting mineral water, rise up by the cable car to the observation plateau. Inspection of the park, where the residence of the Romanov dynasty was.
If requested, visiting the ski resort Bakuriani (30 km), which is located at 1700 m above sea level on the northern slope of the Trialeti Range.
The village is also famous for its mineral springs and the Botanical Garden of the Georgian Academy of Sciences. Lovers of outdoor activities offer a wide choice of routes.

Return to Tbilisi.

7th Day

After breakfast on Georgian Military Highway towards Kazbegi (150km).
On the way visit ancient capital of Georgia - Mtskheta now the Holy City (133km).
Holy Cross Monastery, the first walls are erected in VI century.
Temples of Svetitskhoveli and Samtavro, cultural monuments, which are included in the UNESCO list.
On the way visit Ananuri fortress (XVI century). Through Gudauri ski resort arrival in Kazbegi (passing through the Cross Pass on 1395m from sea level). Ascent to the Gergeti Trinity (on jeeps) - among all the churches of Europe, located in the alpine zone, Gergeti Trinity is located on the highest point of -2400 m.
The church is located at the foot of the top of Mountain Kazbegi - 5047 m above sea level.
If desired, you can drive through the Daryal Gorge to the Russian border.
Lunch in Kazbegi with national cuisine- khinkali and mountaineers’ dishes.
Return to Tbilisi.

8th Day

After breakfast departure towards Ananuri.
Visit Ananuri well-saved castle, which is served as an outpost of defense and the residence of the rulers of this region 400 years ago. Ananuri Architectural ensemble is one of the best monuments of the late feudal Georgia. Since 2012 the castle has the status of an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A trip to Gumadakari pass.
Rafting (descending on the river in the boats) on the river Aragvi.
lunch in nature (Georgian cuisine).
Departure to Tbilisi.

3rd Day

After breakfast a trip to the city, carved into the rocks- "Vardzia" .
This is historic Georgian monument to be proud of. In the country of high mountains and rock cliffs - there was a special view of architectural art – temples, fortresses and even entire cities carved into the rock monoliths.
Moving to and viewing "Rabat fortress" - a medieval fortress in the south of Georgia, in the city of Akhaltsikhe, on territory of historic Meskhetia area. Rabat affects is impressive with its scope, care and a wealth of decoration. After the great work of restoration, it is especially pleasant to enjoy with all the beauties of this amazing place.
Late lunch in Akhaltsikhe (Georgian national dishes and wine).
Departure to Borjomi and overnight at the hotel.

5th Day
After breakfast departure towards Kutaisi, check-in at the hotel.
Sightseeing tour with visiting the monuments included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site - the Cathedral of Bagraty XI c, Gelati Academy XII c., which are nearby. Visit Motsameta Monastery (Monastery of Saints David and Constantine). It is very close to Gelati monastery, but it separated with the canyon and a small mountain.
Return to Kutaisi, free time.
In the evening dinner at the hotel (Imeretian cuisine with wine). Overnight at the hotel in Kutaisi.

6th Day
After breakfast, visit the cave of Prometheus, where you can see many beautiful forms stalactites and stalagmites, petrified waterfalls, descending stone curtains.
A boat trip in the canyon.
Departure to Tbilisi.
Lunch on the way at the restaurant.
Arrival in Tbilisi and check-in at the hotel.
Overnight in Tbilisi.

7th Day
After breakfast, walking tour through the old town (the area of the three churches, abanotubani- Tbilisi sulfur baths, overview plateau of Metekhi temple, by the cableway visit the citadel of Narikala) .
Visit Mount Mtatsminda (Holy Mountain), where is the Pantheon of Georgian Writers and Public Figures.
After inspecting the pantheon rise up to the funicular, from where the whole city can be seen at a glance.
Free time (you can visit the flea market on the dry bridge, shops for the purchase of souvenirs).
At 20: 00 galla dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight at the hotel in Tbilisi.

2 день
После завтрака отъезд в Кахети- на Родину вина! Через Гомборский перевал- приезд в г. Телави . Осмотр достопримечательностей Телави (Дворец Царя Ираклия),посещение дворца князя Александра Чавчавадзе в Цинандали, здесь мы увидим уникальный парк, винный завод, в погребах которого хранятся вина, древнейшие из которых были произведены еще в 1814 году. Здесь же проведем дегустацию лучших вин.
Отъезд в Кварели и по дороге осмотр памятника Некреси и Греми. обзор Кварельского тоннеля который состоит из 2-х главных тоннелей и 13 соединительных, имеющих длину 500 м (каждый). У знаменитого винохранилища два входа. Одни из них предназначен для туристов, а их здесь надо сказать бывает немало. Второй вход необходим для нужд винодельческой компании, которой и принадлежит это место. А хозяином тоннеля сегодня является знаменитая компания «Винодельня Хвареба», которая хранит здесь примерно 25 тысяч бутылок своего самого лучшего вина. И конечно же здесь проведём дегустацию лучших сотртов вин. Поздний обед в Кварели с вином и чачай в ресторане гостиницы Шато Кварели с национальными грузинскими блюдами.

3 день
После завтрака отъезд в направлении города любви Сигнаги, город расположен на террасах, соединяющихся извилистыми крутыми улицами. Славится одноименной крепостью, входящей в список самых известных и крупных крепостей Грузии. Стены Сигнахской крепости выходят далеко за городские границы. По периметру стен сохранились 28 сторожевых башен, с которых открывается замечательный вид на Алазанскую долину. Посещение винного погреба в Сигнаги, дегустация различных сортов вина и грузинской водки - чача. Обед в винном погребе Слезы фазана. Ночлег в гостинице в Сигнаги.

4 день
После завтрака Поездка в Бодбийский монастырь, где покоится просвятительница Грузии св. Нино. Посещение церкви, усыпальницы св. Нино и ее ручья, где можно окунуться в св. роднике для исцеления от всех недугов. Возвращение в Тбилиси, размещение в гостинице (небольшой отдых). В 19:30 ужин в грузинской семье с традиционными блюдами и неповторимым грузинским домашним вином на любой вкус и цвет.

5 день
После завтрака обзорная экскурсия по городу. Духовное сердце столицы – самый большой православный храм в мире, невероятной красоты кафедральный собор «Самеба» построенный в 21 веке. Ознакомление с достопримечательностями Тбилиси, посещение древней части города.(собор Метехи, крепость Нарикала). Прогулка по Тбилиси с посещением парка в старой части города, мост Мира, , самая жизнерадостная улица в Тбилиси- ШАРДЕН, где вечерами всегда многолюдно и проходит множество мероприятий..
После, выезд в древнюю (столицу) Грузии Мцхета, обед в трактире САЛОБИЕ, где вам подадут ЛОБИО(фасоль) в глиняных горшочках с Мчади (лепешка из кукурузной муки), ассорти солений, хачапури, шашлык, хинкали.
После обеда посещение кафедрального собора СВЕТИЦХОВЕЛИ-гордость нашего зодчества, построенный в 1010-1029 годах, где погребён хитон Христа,церковь преображения САМТАВРО, а так-же памятник VI века ДЖВАРИ, со склонов горы которого видны как сливаются «Лермонтовские» струи Арагви и Куры. После посещения города, высеченного в скалах - “УПЛИСЦИХЕ”, где человек обитал еще 2800-3000 лет тому назад. Обед по дороге в ресторане. Приезд в Кутаиси, ужин и ночлег в гостинице “Гора”.

После завтрака Экскурсионная поездка с посещением памятника, внесенных в список Всемирного Наследия ЮНЕСКО – Собора Баграти XI в., далее посещение пещеры Прометея, где можно осмотреть множество красивых форм сталактидов и сталагмитов, окаменевшие водопады, опускающиеся каменные занавесы. Путешествие на лодке в каньоне. После путешествия, прибытие в Батуми, чек-ин в гостинице и ужин в ресторане (Аджарская национальная кухня) Ночлег в Батуми.

С 4-го до 9-го дня
Отдых на море. В один из этих дней отъезд на заповедник “Мтырала”, расположенный на одноименной горе, высота которой составляет свыше 1700 метров. Название горы можно перевести как «плачущая», так как почти круглый год здесь туманно. Пешеходная экскурсия по тропинке в лес до водопада. По желанию можно участвовать в хедлаине. Возвращение в гестхаус и обед в прекрасном селе (Чисто экологическая пища и чисто экологический воздух). Вечером возвращение в Батуми. Ночлег в Батуми.

10 день
Утром в 07:30 трансфер в железнодорожный вокзал и в 08:30 отправление на скоростном поезде в Тбилиси. В 13:30 встреча с водителем и трансфер в гостиницу. Вечером в 20:00 галла ужин в городском ресторане.

11 день
После завтрака трансфер в аэропорт и вылет на Родину.

1 день
Прибытие в аэропорт г. Тбилиси, трансфер в гостиницу, размещение, небольшой отдых после перелета (программа по времени прибытия рейса.). Ужин в одном из национальных ресторанов Грузии. Первое знакомство со всемирно-известной национальной кухней Грузии с бокалом грузинского вина. Свободное время.

2 день
После завтрака отправление на скоростном поезде в Батуми, встреча на вокзале и трансфер в гостиницу. После ужина в ресторане (Аджарская национальная кухня). Ночлег в Батуми.

С 3-го до 8-го дня

Вариант 2

1 День
Прилет в Тбилиси, трансфер в гостиницу, размещение и отдых.
Обзорная экскурсия по городу .Грузия, мифическая и романтическая страна, полная сказок и легенд. Удивительный Тбилиси, где на извилистых улочках старого города можно видеть прекрасную смесь всевозможных культур. Здесь церкви соседствуют с мечетью и синагогой. Храм Метехи (V-XI век), где покоятся св. Части Великомученицы Шушаник. Церковь Метехи была возведена в XII веке. Здесь много раз молилась царица Тамара. Крепость Нарикала (IV век)- душа Тбилиси. Весь город лежит перед ней, как на ладони.
Абанотубани – небольшой квартал в старом Тбилиси, известный комплексом бань, стоящих на естеcтвенных сернистых источниках, любимое место А.С.Пушкина и А.Дюма.
Кафедральный собор Сиони (VI-XII век) один из самых известных памятников старого города, названный в честь горы Сион в Иерусалиме, основанный Вахтангом Горгасалом и освещённый в честь Успения Пресвятой Богородицы , где хранится св. Крест просвятительницы Грузии св. Нино. (Поклониться кресту можно один раз в год в праздник Св.Нино-27 января). Церковь Анчисхати , которая была построена в VI веке, но потом была полностью разрушена. В XVII веке её восстановили в первозданном виде. Именно в эту церковь была перенесена святая икона Спасителя из собора Анчи.
Вечером свободное время для прогулки по городу.
Ужин с грузинским угощением в городском ресторане.

2 День
После завтрака посещение крупнейшего исторического музея Грузии с его золотым фондом, где хранятся древние грузинские иконы и множество святынь. В его экспозициях находятся и некоторые всемирно известные произведения великих художников.
Свободное время для самостоятельного обеда (Пообедать можно во Мцхета в трактире САЛОБИЕ, где Вам подадут ЛОБИО (фасоль) в глиняных горшочках с Мчади (лепешка из кукурузной муки), ассорти солений, хачапури, шашлык, хинкали)
Прибытие в древнюю столицу Грузии Мцхета (25 км): Светицховели - центр православия Грузии (1010-1029), где погребен хитон Христа. Самтавро-церковь, где еще в IV веке была построена церковь, и на месте которой теперь находится церковь им. св.Нино (ныне женский монастырь), где покоятся царь Мириан и царица Нана, первые принявшие святое Крещение. Тут же для преклонения покоятся останки Святого Преподобного Исповедника и Юродивого Архимандрита Гавриила , который был канонизирован Грузинской православной церковью в 2012 г. в лике святых как преподобный. В церкви можно приобрести освещенное на его могиле масло, лечущее от разных недугов. Монастырь Джвари (VI в), где св. Нино воздвигла первый деревянный крест- символ новой веры - христианства. Со склонов горы, на которой воздвигнут монстырь Джвари, видны как сливаются струи Арагви и Куры.
Вечером возвращение в Тбилиси.
Ужин в национальном ресторане Тбилиси.
Ночлег в гостинице г. Тбилиси.

3 День
После завтрака осмотр грандиозного сооружения нашего времени , собора Св.Троицы.
Строительство века- монастырского комплекса на горе Махата.
Посещение церкви им.Св.Георгия-Кашвети, подъем на канатных трамваях на гору Мтацминда (святая гора),
Посещение церкви Св.Давида, построенного одним из Ассирийских отцов Св.Давидом. Тут же находится пантеон писателей и общественных деятелей Грузии, могила Александра Грибоедова и его красавицы жены Нино Чавчавадзе.
Продолжениe пути-подъем на фуникулёр и осмотр панорамного вида на город.
Ужин в одном из городских ресторанов древней части города с грузинским угощением и бокалом вина.
Ночлег в Тбилиси.

4 День
После завтрака отъезд в Гори (100 км), посещение одного из древнего комплекса в мире- Уплисцихе- пещерного города, где человек обитал еще 2800-3200 лет тому назад и ныне сохранены церкви IX-X веков.
Обед в Гори или по пути следования в Кутаиси (за доп.плату)
Отъезд в Кутаиси– второй по величине город Грузии. Древняя столица Колхидского и Имеретинского царства (115 км ), считается одним из самых своеобразных городов страны. Интересны живописная набережная Риони с "висячими верандами", историко-этнографический музей, дом-музей Палиашвили, картинная галерея и знаменитые руины собора Баграти(XI в). Храм Баграти был построен в честь Успения Пресвятой Богородицы, и представляет собой целый дворцово-храмовый ансамбль. В нем отмечались все наиболее важные события той эпохи, он был религиозным и культурным центром государства. В храме Баграта в XI веке был коронован царь Давид-Строитель, объединивший Грузию в одно централизованное государство. Поэтому можно смело назвать храм Баграти не только символом духовности, но и символом единства грузинского народа. Гелати – храм, строительство которого Давид Агмашенебели (Строитель) начал в 1106 году , где он сам и покоится. В Гелати существовала академия, где созидали ученые монахи того периода. В Гелати сохранена мозайка с изображением Богородицы в окружении ангелов, которая датируется XII веком. Моцамета—храм XI века, который построен царем Баграт IV. В монастыре хранятся частицы мощей св. Давида и св. Константина с VIII века. Именно в их честь построена это церковь.

5 День
После завтрака можно посетить Пещеру Сатаплиа, которая была открыта в 1925 г. Сатаплиа в переводе с грузинского означает «медовая». Пещера была так названа потому, что у ее входа в скале, в расщелинах известнякового карниза, некогда было множество пчелиных ульев. Сейчас из них остался всего лишь один. Здесь, на окаменевшей площадке недалеко от пещеры, были обнаружены следы динозавров, отпечатанные в огромных камнях.
Отъезд в Зугдиди - патриархальный город с большой историей, расположенный на Колхидской низменности, в регионе Самегрело - Верхняя Сванетия, в 30 км от Чёрного моря. Осмотр дворца-музея Дадиани . Церковь, где хранится Влахернская плащеница Богородицы. (В праздник Влахерноба-15 июля проходит праздничная служба и плащеница доступна всем для приклонения).
Пообедать можно за доп.плату по дороге в Батуми.
Приезд в Батуми (50 км), размещение в гостинице.
Пешеходная прогулка по Батумскому бульвару.

6 День
После завтрака осмотр Батуми и его достопримечательностей, Крепость Гонио, вблизи которой находится могила Св. Матвея. Это самая старая крепость в Грузии, сохранившаяся в 12 км от Батуми, в деревне Гонио, близ границы с Турцией. Крепость была построена еще в I - II веках и функционировала как цитадель Римской, а позже Византийской Империи. Общая длина стен крепости составляет 900 метров , высота стен 5 м , высота 18, высота её башен – 7 м. Хотя нынешний вид крепости – это перестройка и восстановление, которые были произведены турками в XVI веке . Этим и объясняется прекрасная сохранность стен крепости.
Посещение горной Аджарии с ее уникальными древными церквями: Звари, Схалта, моста царицы Тамары.
В горной Аджарии за дополнительную плату можно организовать обед в ресторане или пикник на природе.
Возвращение в Батуми. Свободное время.
