🌍 WHY CHILDREN MUST KNOW ABOUT UN SDG?

Imagine the world is like a big puzzle, and we’re all trying to make sure every piece fits perfectly to create a beautiful picture. The United Nations came up with 17 special goals called the Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs for short.

These goals are like missions to make our world a better place for everyone. They’re like wishes about making sure everyone has enough food, a good place to live, and can go to school. Others are about protecting animals and plants, keeping our air and water clean, and stopping climate change.

So, when we talk about the UN SDGs, we’re talking about these special missions or wishes to make our world happier, healthier, and safer for all of us, just like being superheroes for the planet! And we can all be superheroes too by doing small things every day to help achieve these goals.

It’s important for children to know about the UN SDGs because they provide a framework for addressing global challenges such as poverty, inequality, and climate change. Understanding the SDGs helps children develop a sense of global citizenship, empathy, and responsibility towards creating a better world for future generations. Additionally, familiarity with the SDGs can inspire young people to take action in their communities and contribute to achieving the goals.

And this is why we teach our kids about UN SDGs - helping them to help their communities for better
