Great Taste producer and internationally acclaimed, we ship all around the world. 20 YEARS IN THE MAKING

Caragh here, founder of Caragh Chocolates. For over 20 years, our wonderful location has been a constant source of inspiration for our chocolate making adventures... It all started with the grazing cows on Sark. With their fresh, thick cream, I couldn't resist making my very first chocolates.

A real family business, our young children would help me experiment, dip chocolate and taste test on our kitchen table. Back in 1989, with no internet, a single chocolatier book became my bible. To this day I still refer to its trusted, chocolate covered pages! Over the years, our chocolate kitchen has grown up with the family. It’s now on the side of our farmhouse, next to our lovely tea garden. The days of selling our first boxes in our local craft shop seem a long time ago, but we have always kept true to our origins. Sark Cream and champagne, Sark cream and vanilla, Sark cream and tiramisu... our pralines and chocolates remain handmade. Our wonderful community on Sark have played a big part in Caragh Chocolates. From our dairy farmers to our fishermen, we’ve never been short of islanders keen to sample our latest creations. They’ve given us the confidence to spread our wings further afield. We’ve sent our collections to palaces and tents alike, to cities and farms, weddings and birthdays. Made by hand, transported by horse and carriage then on by boat... we look forward to sending you our chocolates soon. If you’re coming to Sark, come and visit our chocolate kitchen and tea garden

It was with much sadness we learned of the passing of Tom Kingston. Tom and his family were regular visitors to Sark. They would frequently pop in for tea, coffee and of course chocolates. Tom had become a wonderful champion for us as a small producer, showing our chocolates to friends and business associates all over London. He was a true champion of Sark and our small business.

We will thoroughly miss Tom’s insatiable passion for Sark and our business. He was a wonderful gentleman and true friend to our small island home, of which he will forever have a place. We offer our deepest thoughts and prayers to Lady Gabriella, Martin & Jill Kingston, family and friends at this difficult time.
