During the early months in 1471, the Portuguese arrived at Yabiw (Shama) Western Region, Ghana. After the natives rejected their offer to stay on their land, they continued eastwards for about an hour, and they arrived at "Anomansa," Elmina. They settled and built Castelo de São Jorge da Mina ( St. George of the Mine Castle), Elmina Castle in 1482. They built the castle with the combination of mud- mortar, lime mortar, sand, stones, and other masonry macro elements. Explore and learn with us through our tours

During our tour program for today, we stumbled upon these beautiful souls. Apart from the heavy loads on their heads daily, the number of hours to sell all these products are unknown.
