5. Family-Based Visa Documents
Family-based visas are for immediate family members of U.S. citizens and permanent residents. Spouses, children and parents may be eligible for these visas. Fiancés who are engaged to U.S. citizens or permanent residents and who plan to live in the U.S. after the marriage may apply for visas. The person petitioning these relatives must provide an affidavit of support (Form I-864), tax returns or W-2 forms showing proof of income and proof of citizenship or residency.

Please find below important announcement regarding Turkish e-visa for your utmost attention.



Recently relevant authorities in Turkiye had some updates on e-visa eligibility. Hence, Ghana is one of these countries which is not valid for e-visa.



On the otherside, already approved e-visas are valid (checking and verifying the supporting document) and e-visa holder passengers will have no problem to enter Turkiye. Transit passenger passes and transit flights will continue as in the old order, there is no restriction on transit area.



In order to avoid passenger grievances, please check on each country passports requirement on the official visa info page below.

It is possible to obtain e-Visa 7/24 at everywhere with internet connection. The applicants can obtain their visa after they fill in the necessary information concerning their identity, passport and travel dates and pay visa fee online.

4.Civil Documents for Immigrant Visas
The embassy also requires civil documents from applicants. Plan to bring a birth certificate, police certificate or court and military records. You may need to provide a marriage certificate or divorce decree. Parents who have adopted children must have the official adoption papers and be prepared to show them.
These documents must be original, certified documents and not photocopies. Like the general documents, they also must be written in English or have a translation available.
