Ghana Photojournalists Network, Ghana Tourism Authority celebrate World Photography Day

Ghana Photojournalists Network in partnership with Ghana Tourism Authority and Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park today joined the world to celebrate this year’s World Photography Day in style at the magnificent Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park in Accra.
Under the Theme; Understanding The Cloud, the network tasked its experience photojournalists to capture captivating images of the park to tell unique stories focusing on aesthetic and recreational aspect of the place through those memorable images.
Celebrating the global photography day at Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park forms part of the network’s contribution to help market the refurbished tourist attraction to the world especially on an occasion like this.
In his opening remarks CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority Mr Kwasi Agyeman commended the members of the network for celebrating the at the park.
He said photojournalism plays a key role in tourism adding that he looks forward to see more of such collaborations in the near future.
The Acting Director of the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park Mr Edward Kwame Nkrumah briefed them on daily activities of the park.
