Intercity STC (ISTC) was founded in 1909 as a government transportation agency to serve the demands of the national government. The State Transport Corporation was established as a legal entity in 1965 by Legislative Instrument (L.I) number 414 of the 9th of March 1965 to manage commercial passenger services. The government established a haulage division in January 1968 to handle the transport of

both dry and wet freight. Along with the passenger section, management of this was given to STC as a bulk haulage division. State Transport Company Limited, a Limited Liability Company, was later established as STC in June 1995 in accordance with Ghana's Companies Act, 1962 (Act 179). OUR VISION:

Emmanuel Kwesi Mensah this is the response to your last week’s post .

1. You claimed our bus left your passenger and that was untrue, because the bus delayed for 30min and your passenger did not show up.

2.STC called you at 5:20am from our checks, and the response we had was that, they were on their way to the terminal. Departure was supposed to be 5:00 am , however because of them the bus delayed for 20 - 30 minutes before moving .

3.You claimed their names were not on the waybill which is false because its the same waybill we picked their numbers from to call.

3.After your post, you were called and you accepted that the fault is coming from your side not STC. Now you’re requesting for a refund which is imposible because the company policy does not allow it.
