Explore further west! 🧭
Try and visit the port city of Takoradi (Ghana's nr. 1 oil city). Its about an hours drive from the beach house. There are some great hideouts here; Africa Beach and Atlantic Hotel. Then there is of course the busy Takoradi market circle, the lighthouse and harbour view. All very much worth a visit.
Don’t forget the lively beach area in Takoradi (Vienna Beach). Or another option, a bit further afield (and taking you through forest, villages, palmnut plantations and hills...), is lovely Fanta's folly. A beautiful drive and stunning beach with EXCELLENT cuisine (credit to Philipe, the owner).
Lastly there is Busua Beach Resort; a beautiful location with a small island just off the coast. Busua is a well known Surfers hideout as well and home to the Asa Baako dance festival.
All cool and interesting places...
