You also have your own strength, search it and build on it. You may make better stew than they think. Smile always. All animals that exist, were in Noah's ark. A snail is one of those animals. If God could wait long enough for snails to enter Noah's ark; His door of grace won't close till you reach your expected position in life. Never look down on yourself, keep looking up. → Pre-marital s*x kills faster than cancer.

CREATING AWARENESS

A 30 year-old son decided to admit his father into an old peoples home as desired by his wife. He brought the father in a car to an old peoples home run by a Catholic priest.

Then appeared this elderly priest, who came out to have a long chat with the old man.

The son wondered and asked the priest whether he knew his father before, since they were talking as though they knew each other.

The priest replied, yes, and continued, "He came here 30 years back and took with him a very sick orphan boy who everyone else had rejected for adoption.

This man gave that boy a home and saved his life. He told us this little boy deserves better and I'll dedicate my life to make him the wealthiest young man when he turns 25".

The priest continued, "I don't know how long you have known him but I can tell you he is a good man and I am glad to inform you that you were the sick boy".

The boy, on hearing this, fell on his knees and begged the old man for forgiveness.

The old man looked at him with a smile and said, "Son, I have forgiven you. You threw me out of my own home because of your wife.

Take the house, but know that I have removed you from my documents as the sole heir of my empire.

I have willed all my properties to this orphanage where I now belong."

At the height of your success don't forget where you are coming from, if not you will miss your destination and lose your Crown.

FRIDAY APRIL 6

*Forty Days Of Fear*

TEXT: 1 SAMUEL 17:12-24
Key verse:
*_“And the Philistine drew near morning and evening, and presented himself forty days” (1 Samuel 17:16).
Tertullian, a third-century church Father, while speaking of death, said: “It is a poor thing to fear that which is inevitable.”
David, the youngest son of Jesse, was sent to the battle lines by his father. There, he saw the great fear stirred within the men of Israel because of Goliath. The reason Goliath came out morning and evening with full battle equipment and paraded in front of the Israelite army was because he wanted them to be dismayed. Goliath was able to defeat the Israelites for forty days using the psychological weapon of fear alone.
In any contest, it is always useful to demoralise your opponent, then strike fear in their heart. The devil is interested in making you greatly afraid before the battle ever begins. Fear keeps one from ever going to battle and if one does go at all, he will fight with anxiety and apprehension. With carefully chosen words, we can do a lot to win the battle before it even begins. This, of course, is a significant strategy the devil uses against us.
Giants never completely go away by themselves until you frontally face and fight them. Giants gather strength in your mind. The longer you let them speak out their demands, the more demoralised you will become. Many of us are afraid of all kinds of Goliaths to the extent that we do not venture out to preach the gospel. So much of what churches do is maintenance- oriented because of fear. So much of what we do is not productive because of fear. Put the fear behind you and confront the giant before you. The Lord will give you the victory you desire.
