Shabasa Travel and Tour, a company located at Lamashegu in Tamale seeks the services of the
following.
• Community Development/project Manager Officer
• IT and Multimedia Officer
• Administrative assistant
General Qualifications & Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Development Studies, Project management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Tourism, or Eco-Tourism or any other related area
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• At least 1-2 years of working in a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite [ Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic computer skills]
1. Community Development/Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop project plans: Create comprehensive project plans, including goals, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Manage project resources: Oversee the allocation and utilization of human, financial, and material resources to ensure efficient project ex*****on.
• Monitor project progress: Track project milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure adherence to the project plan.
• Identify and mitigate risks: Proactively identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project success.
Community Engagement and Collaboration:
• Build relationships: Establish strong relationships with community members, stakeholders, and partners to foster trust and collaboration.
• Facilitate community participation: Organize workshops, meetings, and other events to involve community members in decision-making processes and project implementation.
• Address community needs: Identify and prioritize community needs and develop strategies to address them through the project.
• Collaborate with partners: Work with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other stakeholders to leverage resources and expertise.
Evaluation and Reporting:
• Collect and analyze data: Gather data on project outcomes and impact to assess effectiveness.
• Prepare reports: Develop comprehensive reports on project progress, achievements, and challenges.
• Share lessons learned: Disseminate knowledge and best practices to improve future community development efforts.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Capacity building: Provide training and technical assistance to community members and officers at Shabasa group.
• Advocacy: Advocate for policies and programs that support community development.
• Sustainability planning: Develop strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability of project outcomes.
2. IT, Multimedia and marketing Officer
Key Responsibilities:
IT Responsibilities:
• Technical Support: Providing technical support to staff, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Network Administration: Managing and maintaining computer networks, including internet connectivity.
• Software Installation and Maintenance: Installing, configuring, and updating software applications.
• Data Security: Ensuring data security by implementing appropriate measures like firewalls and antivirus software.
• IT Procurement: Sourcing and purchasing IT equipment and software.
Multimedia Responsibilities:
• Content Creation: Developing engaging multimedia content, such as videos, infographics, and presentations.
• Graphic Design: Creating visually appealing designs for marketing materials, websites, and social media.
• Video Editing: Editing and producing videos for promotional purposes.
• Photography: Capturing high-quality images for marketing and promotional materials.
• Web Design and Development: Designing and maintaining websites and web applications.
Marketing Responsibilities:
• Digital Marketing: Implementing digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing.
• Brand Management: Protecting and enhancing the organization's brand image.
• Market Research: Conducting market research to identify target audiences and trends.
• Campaign Planning and Ex*****on: Developing and executing marketing campaigns.
• Analytics and Reporting: Tracking and analyzing marketing performance metrics.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Social Media Management: Managing social media channels and engaging with the audience.
• Content Marketing: Creating and distributing high-quality content to attract and retain customers.
• Event Planning and Coordination: Organizing and managing events, conferences, and workshops.
• Public Relations: Building and maintaining relationships with media outlets and other stakeholders.

3. Administrative Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
• Answering and directing phone calls
• Greeting visitors and providing information
• Managing and maintaining office supplies
• Organizing and maintaining filing systems, both physical and digital
• Scheduling appointments and meetings
• Taking and transcribing meeting minutes
• Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations
• Handling mail and packages
Technical Duties:
• Proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Data entry and management
• Managing and maintaining office equipment (printers, scanners, copiers)
• Troubleshooting basic IT issues
Organizational Duties:
• Coordinating travel arrangements
• Submitting and reconciling expense reports
• Managing calendars and schedules
• Assisting with project management tasks
• Handling confidential information with discretion
Communication Duties:
• Drafting emails, letters, and memos
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and clients
• Representing the company professionally
Additional Duties
• Human Resources tasks (e.g., onboarding new employees, processing payroll)
• Financial tasks (e.g., invoicing, accounts payable)
• Marketing and sales support (e.g., creating marketing materials, assisting with sales
