In addition we are sponsoring 23 community based committee members to patrol a portion of endangered upper guinea rainforest habitat stopping illegal logging and hunting activities. We are actively involved in protecting endangered and vulnerable wildlife and habitat in Ghana.

A wonderful start to 2024! After a busy December in Ghana where we welcomed nearly 50 group tours, we now find ourself just as busy in January. Our current group of 150 Judges and Lawyers from the US are thouroghly enjoying their 11 day Ghana cultural and heritage tour. The trip incorporates classes and meetings with the Ghana BAR association. Yesterday was a major highlight as we visited our former President John Agyekum Kufour at his private residence for lunch. Our recently ended Picathartes and Pangolin Ghana tour was a huge success. Not only did we manage to find 2 species of Pangolin (White-bellied and Black-bellied) had jaw dropping views of more than 8 White-necked Rockfowl, we also managed to find a first record of African Pitta in the Picathartes forest in Bonkro. Not a bad trip at all and more reason to protect this incredible habitat. Well done to our leader Victor Owusu
