Nyx 300m Double Blind
Nice short track from ex GPD Nyx, 300m Double Blind. Poor thing was suffering from the runs, so a pit stop was accepted! Quickly got on with the task after nature's call.
Duke 300m Double Blind
Little Duke flying through a 300 meter double blind track. Tracks just like his progenitor!!
Three weeks ago we posted easy to follow instructions to get your dog to search for articles using human scent. The purpose of this is to give your dog some scent work at home to stimulate and exercise his mind during confinement, and help eliminate unwanted behaviour resulting from stress. Here is 7 month old Duke mastering the game.
Scent Imprint
A couple of weeks ago we posted a piece regarding dogs in confinement at home and what we could do to stimulate thier brains through play. Here is a graphic example of the steps we gave you. This is 6 month old Duke. You will notice that all the exercises are non cumpulsive and positive reward motivated.
Pups just want to have fun!!😁
Duke getting tips from the pros on training day.
One for the road. Short early morning track with Duke before setting off home. A bit of a head wind brought the scent cone straight into our path. It was clear Duke had picked up the scent of the tracklayer downwind with a very clear approximation alert, but I wanted him to track to the source. Guess he had other ideas!!! 😂
Duke, 4 months, 200m "Double Blind"
A double blind, 200m track from 4 month old Duke. First time we embark on a "Double Blind" track of 200m. Some titbits every 30 meters or so to confirm but its evident this wont be required any more!
Taking it all in like a champ!!!
