We are a commercial corporation, founded on January 1st. 2007 by Greenland Travel A/S and Ilulissat Travel A/S. Each year any profits are reinvested in new initiatives that help market Greenland as a sustainable and exciting destination on an international scale. World of Greenland is driven by deliver

ing great experiences. Through a long series of years we developed new products and developed as a company. From beeing Greenland's biggest tour operator with an ambitiously wide catalog we have now found our key area. We develop and run unique lodges in the Disko Bay area and soon in Nuuk as well. All of our lodges has in common that their magnificant location and deliberated concept come together in that exclusive and authentic experience, you will never forget. We work purposefully with Visit Greenland's national tourism strategy as a guideline, and believe that we will get the farthest through cooperation - both locally and nationally. World of Greenland's vision is to be a magnet for tourism throughout Greenland, in order to help raise the local economy and standard of living, and also to inspire young locals to take part in this work towards a future where tourism is a bearing and sustainable part of Greenland's economy. Hi everyone!

At long last, we are finally ready to open Café Asimut for our first winter season – and we can't wait!

We’ll start by being open in February on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

From March until Easter, we’ll be open Monday to Friday from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

During Easter week, we’ll be open every day from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

In February, you’ll be able to enjoy lunch and a warm drink.

From March, we’ll also be serving beer, wine, and soft drinks.
