Georgetown Overnight ( Janjangbureh 2 days tour)
We trip take over 300km up country to the rural Gambia for an unforgettable experience and an amazing excursions. The drive itself is all part of the adventure, making various interesting stops along the way. Upon arrival at Farrafenni you will be served soft drinks and water then continue our journey visit to the stone circles at Wassu village. The megalith stones are still a wonder and not much is known about them except that they are believed to be burial sites. We'll then take a short drive to Kuntaur. You'll be served lunch and then we join a boat for a cruise along the River Gambia. With luck, we can spot hippos chimpanzees, birds while monkeys may also be seen during the cruise. We then head to Janjangbureh as You'll enjoy dinner at Janjangbureh as well as overnight accommodation at Bao Bolong Camp.
Rise early for a tasty breakfast the next day, where we will visit the Slave House, Freedom Tree Monument and one of the oldest churches in Sub-Saharan Africa. After the tour you'll join your vehicle and head back to comfort hotel.
