We all know that petty trading on our public footpaths is generally in the hands of non Gambians, half Gambians and even illegal migrants, who erected illegal structures on our footpaths and streets. This created congestion and an unhealthy environment with garbage and litter everywhere, rendering the streets and highway of our beautiful country into a disorganized and chaotic environment. The hospitality of Gambians is unmatched in the sub region and we deserve better than our public areas being used improperly to the detriment of the citizenry. HENCE OUR POPULAR SUPPORT FOR THE ROAD CLEARING EXERCISE. A BIG BRAVO TO THE TRUE PATRIOTS OF THIS GREAT COUNTRY!!!

UNFORTUNATELY MOST GAMBIANS WHO ARE FROM THE COUNTRYSIDE OR WHOSE ORIGINS ARE FROM THE COUNTRYSIDE WILL UNASHAMEDLY TELL YOU " I don't like the provinces. " Some even refuse to be posted by their departments or companies. What needs to be done in other to reverse the situation???
