The villa is a beautifully built, heritage listed stone structure, dating from the 1930ies, located on the island of Aegina, just a 90 minute ferry trip from the Port of Piraeus, Athens, Greece. Villa Vithania has been fully renovated, and every care has been taken to respect it’s history and the style of the period it represents. At the same time, all modern facilities have been added to the vill

a, to provide full comfort for the guests. It is located on the southern coastal road of the island, and lies only five hundred metres from Aegina Town and the port. It is within easy walking distance of the town centre with it’s restaurants, cafés, vibrant market and other facilities, while the open air cinema ‘Akrogiali’ lies a few metres away. The Villa stands just twenty metres away from the sea, separated from the water by the road. Villa Vithania comfortably sleeps 12 people and consists of two floors, each with three large bedrooms, a living room, and a fully equipped kitchen. The upper floor has two large balconies, one at the entrance of the house, with spectacular views of the sunset over the Saronic Gulf, and one facing the garden of the villa, with its tall palm trees. There are also various seating areas in the garden surrounding the ground floor. There is a private swimming pool in the garden, with seating and sun beds, and with a special section for young children. The calm atmosphere and the location of the villa, make it an ideal holiday home for families and groups of friends. The manager is available to assist you, if you desire, and cleaning is provided. Villa Vithania, a villa with a long history. “There is something special about staying in a heritage listed building.”

The villa is a beautifully built stone structure, dating from the 1930ies, which stands in private land of 5,000 square metres.

It shares the same architectural style as the two neighbouring villas, all three of which have played an integral part in the history of Aegina. The Villa has been heritage listed.

The first that was built is the middle one, by the architect Troumpe by order of Nikos Peroglou, the man who first brought the wonderful pistachio tree to Aegina. He also starred in the movie “Holidays in Aegina”. The building has been evaluated as listed by the Ministry of Culture.

After several changes in its ownership and its functions, Villa Vithania has now been fully renovated, the work having been completed in 2013. Every care has been taken to respect its history and the style of the period it represents. At the same time, all the modern facilities have been added to the villa, to provide full comfort to its guests.

It is now available to host visitors from all over the world. The calm atmosphere and the location of the villa, make it an ideal holiday home for families, and friends.
