On the highest summit of the Balkans, on Mt. Musala ( 2925m) in Bulgaria with my amazing girlfriends and . A challenging peak with breathtaking views! From here, on a clear sky day you can see all the peaks of Bulgaria. We were lucky enough to do so 🙏🙏🙏 🏔️🏔️🏔️and after a long hike we enjoyed hot soups and freshly made dinner at Musala hut where we spent the night. In the middle of the night, staring at the clear sky, watching the stars ✨ and the Milky Way… is such a unique experience…

Όταν έχεις ξεβοβελευτει από την άνεση του σπιτιού σου, όταν χρειάζεται να περπατήσεις πάνω σε κακοτράχαλα μονοπάτια, να νιώσεις το υψόμετρο να σου κόβει την ανάσα, όταν οι εναλλαγές των καιρικών συνθηκών σε βγάζουν από τη γνώριμη ζώνη ασφαλείας, όταν νομίζεις πως δεν μπορείς να τα καταφέρεις και πως τελείωσαν οι δυνάμεις σου… αρκεί να κοιτάξεις δίπλα σου και να αφεθείς στην υποστήριξη και βοήθεια που σου δίνει η ομάδα, οι νέοι φίλοι, οι πεζοπόροι που επέλεξαν όπως και εσύ να « ξεβολευτούν» και να ανακαλύψουν τα δικά τους όρια. Και μετά αυτή η θέα… σου πέρνει το μυαλό και συνειδητοποιείς πόσο άξιζε όλη αυτή η προσπάθεια!!! Οι φιλίες στο βουνό είναι φιλίες για πάντα! Λίλα, Έλλη, Θάνο, Γιώργο… σας ευχαριστώ για τις μοναδικές στιγμές που μοιραστήκαμε!

Το Σάββατο 14/9 θα βηματίζουμε στην κορυφή του Σάος (1611 m) ενώ την Κυριακή 15/9 θα διασχίσουμε το μεγαλύτερο μέρος του φαραγγιού των ¨Κρύων Νερών¨ βουτώντας σε όποια φυσική υδατοδεξαμενή επιλέγει ο καθένας μας, έτσι γιατί μπορούμε και είναι ο μοναδικός σωστός τρόπος να νιώσεις τα πιο ¨ζωντανά¨ νερά που αναβλύζουν από τα βάθη της λεκάνης του Αιγαίου στις περίφημες βάθρες της Σαμοθράκης.

Nature helps me to recharge & redefine my goals. When feeling disorientated I always go there. Standing among the high hills, reflecting on crystal clear lakes, I find the answers I long. There, I feel in peace and daily problems take again its actual size. Try it and you will see, life is much more about being in the moment rather than worrying about tomorrow.
