How the company came into existence - A chance encounter between Kiki Tsakaldimi and Satyabrata Dam in 2014 sowed the seed of adventure travel into the former, which soon transformed into the seemingly impossible dream of becoming the first Greek woman ever to attempt Mt Everest. f more people from Greece and elsewhere, especially those not exposed to adventure or travel, and from other walks of life, could travel and experience nature in its true form then perhaps it would be a dream come true for many who wished to travel yet didn’t have the wherewithal to do so. After her remarkable Everest expedition in 2017 and many other ascents in over dozen countries spanning four continents, we finally decided to launch our adventure travel company in 2021. The pandemic lockdown, offered us the time we needed to put our thoughts and ideas on paper and to finally register the company in Greece. Kiki’s indefatigable life-partner George Kazakos stepped forward, after quitting from his firefighting job, and took over the reins of the company as the Founding Managing Director.
