Residence in Politeia:
A project that redefines minimalism and timeless design with an interplay of horizontally transposed volumes. The three levels are carefully sculpted to frame the horizon and invite the lush surrounding plantation into the living experience. Each element of the design emphasizes clean geometry while maintaining a sense of dynamic movement, creating an architectural statement that feels both grounded and elevated.

Στο ΒΗΜΑ της Κυριακής, ο ιδρυτής του γραφείου, Aris Kordas μιλά για την ξεχωριστή εκδοχή της "πολυτέλειας" σε κάθε έργο. Μεταξύ άλλων, αναφέρει:

"To γραφείο μας, Kordas Architects, επιλέγει να συναρτά πάντοτε το αίτημα αυτό με μία δυσκολότερη πρόκληση: πώς μπορούμε να προσεγγίσουμε την "αίσθηση της πολυτέλειας" χωρίς να καταφύγουμε σε δαπανηρές κατασκευαστικές διατάξεις και υλικά. Perched on the hill, facing the sky.

The residential complex in Penteli, develops in three floors, designed to maximize both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The foundation of the building features a robust, stone-clad base that is symbolic of its connection to the earth. Above the stone base, the structure transitions into the upper building volume, which accommodates two “twin” two-storey residences.

The design aims to create a continuous dialogue between the interior and exterior spaces. The residences enjoy sweeping panoramas of the mountain range as well as more intimate glimpses of the lush vegetation. The prismatic forms of the building serve as more than just a privacy mechanism; they function as frames for specific viewpoints.

The warmth of the built-in fireplace contrasts beautifully with the cool minimalism of the décor, making it the perfect spot to enjoy the tranquility of contemporary living.

Bespoke architectural and interior design approach for a single-family house in Ekali.

The secluded courtyard with the pool is the absolute epicenter of the design of this project. All areas of the residence are designed in a way to seamlessly interact with the outdoors, both functionally and visually. Focusing on clarity and coziness, the interior design features a neutral palette, wooden surfaces, and contemporary furniture, details and artwork.
