✨Happy Epiphany aka Θεοφάνια!✨

In Greece, Epiphany is celebrated on January 6th with rich traditions focusing on the blessing of waters and the revelation of the Holy Trinity during Jesus' baptism. Priests bless rivers, seas, and other bodies of water by throwing a cross into them. Young men dive into the water to retrieve the cross, and the one who retrieves it is believed to receive special blessings for the year. This symbolizes the sanctification of creation and Jesus' baptism in the Jordan River.
