Koukaki is one of the oldest neighborhoods of Athens. It’s the area around Acropolis and Acropolis Museum.
It is ideally located as it’s very close to the city center but also is a typical Athenian neighborhoods with small stores and permanent inhabitants. The Museum of Modern Art is also close by and that’s the reason why various artists live there.
