Synodos recently had the pleasure of organsing a three day event in Attica for a European Multinational Insurance Company.
Initially for a day and a half 260 delgates gathered for a meeting and a poolside gala. This was followed by an Executive VIP programme for 60 top managers. The VIP programme included an impressive meeting and presentations, fine dining VIP dinner at Kuzina with the always impressive Acropolis view - and activities on the last day prior to departure.

Always honoured to manage these top level events.

Greek wine has a rich history dating back over 6,500 years, making it one of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world. The diverse climate and unique terroir of Greece contribute to a wide range of distinctive wines, from crisp whites and robust reds to sweet dessert wines. Indigenous grape varieties like Assyrtiko, Xinomavro, and Agiorgitiko offer flavors and characteristics not found anywhere else. Greek wine has experienced a renaissance in recent decades, with modern winemakers blending ancient traditions with contemporary techniques to produce wines that are gaining international acclaim.

Skouras Winery, established in 1986 by George Skouras in the Peloponnese region of Greece, is renowned for its innovative approach to winemaking and its dedication to quality. The winery is located in the Nemea appellation, which is famous for its Agiorgitiko grape. Skouras Winery combines local grape varieties with international ones, producing a diverse portfolio of wines that have received numerous accolades. The winery is particularly noted for its flagship wine, Megas Oenos, a blend of Agiorgitiko and Cabernet Sauvignon, which showcases the region’s potential for producing complex and age-worthy wines.

Visiting Skouras Winery is an enriching experience set in the beautiful Peloponnese region. So it was with great pleasure that we included a visit to the winery on our way down to Costa Navarino. The tour began with a stroll through the picturesque vineyards, where knowledgeable guides explained the unique terroir and grape varieties. Delegates then had the opportunity to explore the modern winemaking facilities, learning about the meticulous processes from fermentation to aging.
The highlight was a curated wine tasting experience in an elegant setting, featuring a selection of Skouras wines with expert commentary on their unique characteristics. To round off the visit a fine meal was enjoyed by our delegates accompanied with fine wines from the winery.

While in Algarve for our client, Synodos organized an amazing, experiential incentive trip that also gave our clients the opportunity to give back to the community they were visiting.
The Algarve, known for its stunning coastline, picturesque beaches, and charming villages, provided the perfect backdrop for our adventure. Two catamaran motor yachts were chartered for exploring the magnificent Algarve coastline, including visits to the Benagil Caves with their crystal-clear waters, a cork oak tree farm, and participation in reforestation and tree planting. The cork oak trees, native to Portugal, are renowned for their bark, which is harvested to produce cork. This sustainable practice supports local economies and helps preserve the environment.
To cap it all off, there was a spectacular neon gala party into the early hours.
We are sure the whole experience brought the team together through these awesome shared experiences, and it gave us great satisfaction to be the agency chosen to put this trip together and flawlessly bring it to fruition.
