GYA is dedicated to promoting and safeguarding professional crewed charter yachting in the Greek seas

The Greek Yachting Association (GYA) was founded by the leading Greek professional yachting companies involved in all fields of Charter, Brokerage, Management, Insurance and Construction of large yachts. GYA and its Members represent over 90% of the Crewed Charter Yachts in Greece under Central Agency Agreement. The objectives of this Association are to:
• Maintain high standards of professionalis

• Closely cooperate with ΜΥΒΑ and other yachting associations in order to improve business standards in Greece.�
• Promote Greece as a yachting destination and become the point of reference for foreign professionals.�

Today, we bid farewell to Manos Vernicos, a dear friend, founding member, and long-standing Board Member of the Greek Yachting Association, as well as a dedicated figure in Greek yachting and the marine industry.

Manos Vernicos was a visionary leader whose passion for the sea inspired his lifelong commitment to the Greek yachting industry. He made significant contributions to yacht chartering and management, and under his stewardship, AB Felix Limited became synonymous with excellence, promoting Greece’s yachting reputation worldwide.

Through his involvement with GYA, Manos was not only an advocate for yachting but also a guardian of Greece’s maritime heritage.

MEDYS 2025 | The dates are set

We are delighted to announce the dates for the 2025 Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS), the 10th event in our Association's history. The MEDYS will be held in Nafplio from Saturday, May 3rd to Wednesday, May 7th. Previous attendees are familiar with the charms of this small seaside town that hosts us every year, the impressive fleet of yachts that vie for a berth in the port, and the social agenda that is in a league of its own. We understand many are eagerly awaiting the show dates to proceed with accommodation and travel arrangements. Those who have not yet experienced the unique ambiance and offerings of the MEDYS should mark their calendars and start making plans! Before confirming the 2025 show dates, GYA liaised and aligned with MYBA, the organizers of the MYBA Charter Show, to ensure the chosen dates would allow industry professionals to attend both events easily. The MYBA Charter Show will precede the MEDYS, taking place from Monday, April 28th to Thursday, May 1st, at a location that will be revealed shortly by MYBA. We would like to thank MYBA for their cooperation and wish them every success.
