NeuroClima is a project, funded by the European Commission, that aims to provide best practices, ensure sustainable use of climate change adaptation and solutions. In collaborating with other EU-funded initiatives, it will also develop frameworks, toolkits and solutions to address climate change with a long-term impact.

To achieve our objectives, we are seeking valuable insights from various stakeholders and users through these . CyberSecDome - EU project successfully held its at the EIT Digital House in Brussels.

The event included informative sessions by EIT Digital and AEGIS Information Technologies, covering our upcoming Open Call but also featured insightful presentations from our pilot entities.

OTE Group of Companies (HTO) focused on telecom sector attack scenarios, while Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" (AIA) addressed the challenges within their dynamic digital ecosystem.

is a visionary European project that combines AI technology and virtual reality to revolutionize cybersecurity.
The first round of the CyberSecDome's Open Call is scheduled for December 2024, inviting external third parties to test, validate, and provide feedback on the solutions developed within CyberSecDome.

We are also preparing our 2nd Info Day, which will be a hybrid event in Athens at the beginning of December, before our opens!

The SENTINEL consortium met online on July 5, 2024, for the final project review marking the successful conclusion of a 36-month journey!
ITML acknowledges the rewarding strides made as the project's Coordinator. Through collaborative efforts, all project milestones were achieved, delivering a comprehensive project outcome, exceeding initial expectations and approaching perfection. SENTINEL surpassed project objectives, showcasing exceptional results across multiple highly ambitious deliverables.

Thanks to its dedicated and ambitious partners, SENTINEL made significant steps for bridging the security, privacy, and data protection gap. The project demonstrates accountability in handling personal data, in alignment with GDPR compliance and data protection impact assessments. Well-aligned with the initial expectations, SENTINEL primarily addresses the needs and challenges of SMEs/MEs of all industries in Europe although it can be useful also for larger enterprises, public authorities or any organisation which processes personal data.

Special thanks to our EAB members for their invaluable support in enhancing the SENTINEL platform and to all partners for their dedicated efforts and time!
Furthermore, we express our wide appreciation to our Project Officer and Project Reviewers for acknowledging the project achievements, providing valuable feedback and thoughtful guidance to the project.

⭐ The 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 of the Life-in-EU Project Meeting took place in June 2024, 23rd and 24th, in Berlin.

👍Round about 𝟒𝟎 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬, mostly of them from the target group 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬, participated in this project activity.

👆 During the event the 𝐄-𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 https://app.life-in-eu.com/ was presented and the participants could make their own impressions working personally with it.

💥 The Multiplier Event of LifeinEU went quite well as the participants enjoyed the tool a lot.

🌟 MeTae Team Meeting 🌟

Αs we are approaching the end of the project, our team - Ένωση Ταεκβοντο Βορείου Ελλάδος (NHTU) Taekwondo team Hereya (TCH) and ITML - met once again to discuss not only the development of the project to this day but also exchange ideas on how the values of can continue having the positive impact we have seen it has had the entire duration of the project; to us, to our athletes, to our coaches, to our taekwondo communities in Greece and Bulgaria!

🎉It was a pleasure for ITML to host and organize the final IMOCO4E Consortium meeting in Athens.

🤝During this meeting, ITML chaired the successful IMOCO4.E Clustering Event, providing networking opportunities among 36 projects. Over 60 participants presented their impressive work in the thematic areas of motion industry and digital twins.

🧑‍💻During the last IMOCO4.E Consortium meeting, consortium members discussed the technical progress of the project results, including work packages, pilots, demonstrators, use cases, and building blocks. They also addressed upcoming deliverables and ensured a smooth project closure in August 2024.

📈ITML, as the WP8 Dissemination and Communication leader, presented the progress on WP8 activities and plans for the remaining months. During the closing session of WP8, partners participated in a workshop on Exploitation, Sustainability, and Standardization. The workshop involved presenting partners with dedicated questionnaires designed to facilitate data collection for related tasks and upcoming deliverables.

🎉We are happy to announce that the 2nd Plenary Meeting for the R3-MYDAS project was successfully carried out in Jyväskylä, Finland on June 6-7, 2024!

🤝The first six months of the project have passed, and we now have a much clearer view and planning regarding all three use cases of the project. As a result, the collaboration between the consortium partners is becoming stronger.

🔋Regarding the use case of remanufacturing e-vehicle batteries, in which ITML is an important contributor, we had really interesting and creative conversations during this plenary meeting. New innovative ideas emerged, taking this use case a step further.

We would like to thank Flender Finland for their excellent hosting of the meeting, including the fascinating tour of the factory and the delightful lake dinner on a boat.

🚀 We are thrilled to announce the successful kick-off of the FAIR-PReSONS project! 🚀
Our team gathered for an energizing and productive meeting to lay the foundation for this groundbreaking initiative. FAIR-PReSONS aims to develop a bias-free AI system for the fair prediction of recidivism, with a strong emphasis on gender equality and compliance with EU legislation for non-discriminative AI.
Key highlights from our kick-off meeting include:

🏃Για τρίτη συνεχόμενη χρονιά η ITML είχε δυναμική συμμετοχή στο Powerade B2Run Αθens 2024, το μεγαλύτερο Team Bonding & Running Party που διοργανώνει η EY ZHN Greece DMC, ένα από τα αγαπημένα μας bonding events που όλοι περιμένουμε κάθε χρόνο με ανυπομονησία.
🚀 Η παρουσία μας και φέτος ήταν δυναμική, έχοντας runners όλων των επιπέδων, αλλά κυρίως πολύ fun μαζί με άλλες 80 εταιρείες και 2.500 άτομα!
♻️ Το event είναι zero waste και με σημαντικό κοινωνικό χαρακτήρα!

We're thrilled to announce the successful kickoff meeting (KoM) of "ShapeFuture" in Munich from June 5th to 6th.

Through its ground-breaking research and innovation, will pave the way for future automotive solutions in the Industry 5.0 era, and shape the future of the European ECS industry.

ITML will develop AI-based algorithms to support cognitive processing and decision making for highly automated vehicles utilizing novel ECS developed in ShapeFuture and support the exploitation activities.

🌎Today is World Refugee Day🌍

ITML supports refugees arriving in Greece in collaboration with 🤝

We've been volunteering together so that refugee women in Greece can learn and practice on various digital skills.

Our employees have the chance to mentor one or more fellows and observe their progress in just a couple of months.

By the end of each cycle, we are always excited to meet them and hear their inspiring stories. We also enjoy meeting them after a while and see them building a whole new life! 🚀 We are learning so much more from you!

The Kick-Off meeting of EdgeAI-Trust, an EU-funded project under the HORIZON-JU-IA, took place at TTTech's premises in Vienna, Austria, on the 28th-29th of May 2024.

EdgeAI-Trust aims to develop a domain-independent architecture for decentralized edge AI, along with HW/SW edge AI solutions and tools, which enable fully collaborative AI and learning at the edge.

ITML's involvement in the project is crucial, leading SC8 (Impact in the EU and social trust), being the Exploitation leader, and making significant contributions to the technical tasks.

🚀We are thrilled to announce that ITML participated in the largest tech and startup event in Infoshare 2024, by promoting the - EU Project and spreading a word about its achievements!
🧑‍💻This annual conference is a hub for thousands of innovators eager to learn, network, and draw inspiration, solidifying its status as the premier tech and startup event in the region. The event took place in Gdansk, Poland, on May 22nd and 23rd, 2024.

As the Coordinator of the Sentinel - EU Project, ITML proudly represented the project with a dedicated booth to showcase the SENTINEL offerings. Other consortium partners including INTRA, AEGIS, and SSTS have also joined us to participate in the Matchmaking Event and promote the SENTINEL's solution.

Furthermore, the Scientific Coordinator of the SENTINEL project, Dr. Manolis Falelakis, contributed to the Info Talks. He had a great performance during the ‘Growth’ stage, by hosting a session on GDPR compliance and how the SENTINEL project addresses this challenge. His talk explored the key data protection issues faced by SMEs and offered insights on overcoming compliance hurdles without compromising growth or customer trust.

🤝 We are excited to share that ITML participated in the 4th SecOPERA plenary held in Salzburg on May 21-22.

During the event, we presented our achievements and progress in the integration work package and led discussions on the release of the MVP framework. 🧑‍💻

🚀The NeuroClima project just had its 2nd face-to-face plenary meeting on 23 & 24 May 2024, in Lisbon, and it was a success!

ITML, acting as the technical coordinator, presented an initial use case analysis and actively participated in the project's interactive workshops. 🧑‍💻
These workshops focused primarily on defining the problem, cause, and effect for each use case, as well as identifying the stakeholders, users, and personas associated with each one.

✅The result? A productive and fruitful meeting that sets the stage for even greater progress!

The FERMI project has achieved a significant milestone by completing the interim EU project review, which focuses on mitigating the risks associated with in the context of and the .

During this review, ITML, the FERMI technical and innovation manager, along with the other project partners, showcased several critical technical achievements.

Notably, the initial deployment of the FERMI integrated platform was completed following the successful integration of the project's modules.
