Our personalized tours are unique in that we accommodate one to five individuals on each tour, allowing us to take into account each person's particular needs and desires. ACADEMY TOUR

Athens is much more than a vibrant city bringing together not only different cultures but different eras as well.

Academy Tour can be experienced more or less as a time travel. Our journey starts in Monastiraki, cycling past the ottoman Fetihe Mosque, on the northern side of the Roman Agora to the Tower of the Winds, which is considered the world’s first meteorological station.

We will get a sense of everyday life of ancient Athenian citizens next to the Ancient Agora and cycle around the 19th century’s picturesque neighborhood of Plaka. We make a short stop to enjoy the view of the crowded city from the Hill of Mars and then ride through Aeropagitou pedestrianized street on the foots of Acropolis. Before setting off to the ancient Sacret Street (Iera Odos), we pay a visit to the Jewish Holocaust Monument and glance over Kerameikos ancient cemetery.

We may afterwards relax in the marvelous park of Plato’s Academy and, with the contribution of the Museum’s digital representations, imagine Plato’s long legendary lectures. While in the area, we’ll also visit the Hill of Colonos where Oedipus was buried, as described by Sophocles’ famous drama.

Just before our journey comes to an end we will wonder around Psyrri, a post-war commercial area, nowadays one of the most popular nightlife sites of Athens.

Back at the starting point, we can chill out, as usual, with a rooftop drink and refreshments on our office premises.
