Katholiko Monastery, Akrotiri in Chania.
Considered to be the oldest Monastery in Crete.
First, reach the Monastery Gouverneto, then, hike a rocky path about 20 minutes to get to Bear Cave, and then 15 minutes of hiking to reach the Katholiko ( ruins).

Τα Μάταλα είναι ένας από τους πιο δημοφιλείς τουριστικούς προορισμούς της Κρήτης και σίγουρα η πιο διάσημη παραλία του νότιου Ηρακλείου. Η παραλία αυτή αποτελείται μια αμμουδιά μήκους 300μ, με ψιλό χαλικάκι και πεντακάθαρα νερά. Ο βυθός έχει πλάκα στο κέντρο της παραλίας και τα κύματα, όταν φυσάει δυτικός άνεμος, είναι πολύ μεγάλα και εντυπωσιακά. Είναι ένας εξαιρετικός τόπος για να απολαύσετε τις διακοπές σας!!
