To make our tzatziki, we started off with Greek yogurt to provide that perfect, thick texture. From there, we combined cucumber, organic vinegar, some garlic, and a little dill. Just a little mint added a wonderful, minty lightness to the recipe.
All you have to do is combine all the ingredients in a medium bowl and stir until fully incorporated.
🥛 2 cups plain Greek yoghurt
🥒 2 cups diced cucumber
🌿 1/2 cup fresh dill minced
🌱 2 teaspoons fresh mint minced
🏺 1 tablespoon organic vinegar
🧄 2 cloves garlic, minced
⚪️ 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
⚫️ 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Tzatziki is the perfect compliment to grilled meats and vegetables. It’s served on the side with warm pita bread triangles for dipping, and is also used as a condiment for souvlaki.
