Back in the time when there was no harbour in Diafani, the ferry boat was stopping close by and people and luggage were transferred there by small boats ⛵️

The last one to do it was us… our old boat “Nikos”
Captain Nikos Orfanos served this “line” for more than 10 years till the harbour was built.

It was a great experience, Fascinating , dangerous…unique! Thanks God no accident all these years 🙏

Tristomos, a Natural Harbour on the north warst side of Karpathos.
A nice path from Avlona or Vananda can take you there 🥾
It’s a bit long (~3,5 hours) so it can be combined with a boat trip ⛵️
