Two of our last reviews!

Alexander is a great host, available at any time and French-speaking.
He welcomed us with great generosity and his house is superb as is his garden. We spent wonderful evenings on the terrace.
There are numerous beaches around the house and very pleasant.
The small town of Ermioni, 15 minutes away by car, is charming.

Exceptional stay in a wonderful and peaceful place... a true paradise where we would like to stay much longer.
The house is very comfortable and above all well equipped. Conforms to the description and very clean.

Yesterday was the National Day OXI (Ochi= nej) when prime minister Metaxas said no to Mussolini's ultimatum and the Axis power to set up camp in Greece and free passage october 28, 1940 or else "It's war". Even though the Germans evenually invaded Greece the OXI day was important because of the bravery and courage of the Greeks which also gave other countries in Europe hope and encouragement to fight against the evil.. Here is the parade in Kranidi from yesterday .. And the old lady watching from her house on the street..❤️

This is a really magical spot. Alex and Ingela have thought of everything to make a stay in their house easy and relaxing. It has beautiful decor and the peace and calm sitting on the verandah can’t be beat! It is well worth navigating the slightly rough and ready local roads to get there (Alex met us at the local Lidl when we arrived to guide us to the house, which was really helpful). We swam every day at the local beach and also loved swimming off the rocks by the strip of tavernas in Ermioni. Easy to take day trips to Hydra and the Ancient Theatre of Epidauros. Great communication, friendly hosts, very clean and loads of amenities (we bought oranges from a roadside stall and made good use of the electric orange juicer!) - do stay here if you get the chance.

The villa is fully equipped with anything you can dream with a special personal touch. You feel at home from the minute you turn into the driveway through the olive tree plantation, even before you enter the house.

We had a wonderful week at the villa. The house is very hidden and private, surrounded by its own olive grove, but still has neighbors, so you don't feel lonely or unsafe. We had already written with Alex before we arrived, he had suggested us an easy to find meeting point and from there Alex showed us the way to the villa. After a nice conversation on arrival, Alex and his wife Ingela showed us the house in detail – everything was simple and understandable and we felt very comfortable in their company and in the house. The list of recommendations for the area made it easy for us to find the most beautiful beaches and places. We especially loved sitting on the terrace in the evening, enjoying the view over the silver olive trees to the blue sea and the peace – you don't hear any cars – only nature! The house is a special place – you can immerse yourself in another world very nicely! Thank you!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in der Villa. Das Haus liegt sehr versteckt und privat, umgeben vom eigenen Olivenhain, hat aber trotzdem Nachbarn, so dass man sich nicht einsam oder unsicher fühlt. Wir hatten schon vor unserer Ankunft mit Alex geschrieben, er hatte uns einen einfach zu findenden Treffpunkt vorgeschlagen und von dort aus zeigte Alex uns den Weg zur Villa. Nach einem netten Gespräch bei der Ankunft zeigten uns Alex und seine Frau Ingela ausführlich das Haus – alles war einfach und verständlich und wir fühlten uns in ihrer Gesellschaft und im Haus sehr wohl. Die Liste mit Empfehlungen für die Umgebung machte es uns einfach, die schönsten Strände und Orte zu finden. Besonders liebten wir es abends auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, den Blick über die silbernen Olivenbäume aufs blaue Meer und die Ruhe zu geniessen – man hört keine Autos – nur Natur! Das Haus ist ein besonderer Ort – man kann hier sehr schön in eine andere Welt abtauchen! Vielen Dank Euch!

Review by Bruce on February 2023;

We had a great stay.
Especially worth mentioning is the tranquil terrace overlooking the olive groves where it easy to lose track of the time and drift away in the surroundings.
Then there is the kitchen. This exceeded our expectations for an Airbnb and was fully equiped and easy to find our way around.
Another pleasant surprise was the very fast Wifi. It was easily able to cope with streaming and quite large downloads.
Overall we had a very pleasant, quiet peaceful stay and will definitely be back again.

Villa Erminel is a wonderful and special place to explore all that Ermioni and the surrounding area has to offer. We found the house spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. You can really feel the care and love that the owners put in every corner and detail. All you would want or need are available in the villa, including snorkelling gear, a fully equipped kitchen and lots of interesting books. We found the terrace especially lovely and cozy. Nearby, there are some great beaches and nice little seaside towns (Porto Cheli and Ermioni). It's also very easy to get to the islands nearby (Spetses and Hydra) by ferry. This was one of the best Airbnbs we've ever experienced!
