Our travel experiences may be based on historical facts, mingle around significant life experiences of important and particularly interesting figures for the history of Crete. They might be based on exploring natural trails above the surface of the earth, as well as, underground, while examining the ways the natural landscape is shaped because of time and people. All themes though have a common base: our respect towards nature, local people and culture and the ways they become a guide towards a harmonious balance for sustainable development.

We are crazy happy to welcome the new editions of accompanying booklets for our one-day thematic trips, the fruits of a great and collective effort of Petassos family! Feeling that they express our approach to travelling as an experience of understanding taking place in space and time and with all our senses, and our love for all different colours, we are super excited to share these trip companions with our fellow travellers!
We wholeheartedly thank all the passionate and unique experts, explorers, creators, workers, poets, collaborators who devoted energy to this effort. Special thanks to Redy. and to our fantastic graphic designer Argyris Athanasiades for the wonderful work and excellent collaboration!

Petassos Travel is a company that organizes unique and unforgetable travel experiences in space and time. It is established by 3 friends. Chryssa Mavrokosta, Emmanouela Pervolaraki, and Dimitris Sfakianakis. Petassos is established for travelers that want to experience Crete as true wanderers that are interested in searching, exploring, understanding and make sense what one can see, what one can hear, what one can touch, or else what one can feel...
