Bill Gates has thrown his weight – and his money – behind a Californian startup that believes it can make a rich, fatty spread akin to butter, using just carbon dioxide and hydrogen. And 'butter' is just the start, with milk, ice-cream, cheese, meat and tropical oils also in development.

ΤΟ ΛΕΕΙ ΚΑΙ Η ΕΠΙΣΤΗΜΗ: Η ΠΡΟΒΑΤΙΝΑ ΑΥΞΑΝΕΙ ΤΟ ΠΡΟΣΔΟΚΙΜΟ ΖΩΗΣ - Πρώτη η ΗΠΕΙΡΟΣ στην Ελλάδα σε αύξηση του προσδόκιμου!

✌️ Ένα καλό νέο, αυξήθηκε το προσδόκιμο ζωής στην Ευρώπη κατά μέσο όρο στα 80,6 χρόνια. Τα αγόρια που γεννήθηκαν σε ευρωπαϊκό έδαφος το 2022 αναμένεται να ζήσουν 77,9 χρόνια (+0,7 χρόνια από το 2021) και τα κορίτσια 83,3 χρόνια (+0,4 χρόνια) –σχεδόν 5 χρόνια πιο πολύ από το «ισχυρό» φύλο.

🏅Το υψηλότερο προσδόκιμο σε όλη την Ευρώπη το κερδίζουν περιοχές της Ισπανίας, της Ιταλίας, της Γαλλίας αλλά και η Στοκχόλμη.
😭Το χειρότερο προσδόκιμο παρατηρείται σε τέσσερις περιοχές της Βουλγαρίας και μία της Ουγγαρίας.

🇬🇷 Στην Ελλάδα το υψηλότερο προσδόκιμο καταγράφεται στην 🐑ΗΠΕΙΡΟ🐑, τα νησιά του βορείου Αιγαίου και την Κρήτη: Τα παιδιά που γεννήθηκαν το 2022 έχουν μέσο προσδόκιμο ζωής τα 82,7, τα 82,3 και τα 81,7 χρόνια αντιστοίχως. Μπορείτε να διαβάσετε λεπτομέρειες, χάρτες και γραφήματα εδώ.

A traditional New Year's Eve pie for the partners and the volunteers of the Food & Paths!
As it is a tradition in Greece, we hide a coin inside the pie, and the one in whose piece the coin is hidden wins a gift and is the Lucky of the Year!
This year we cut two pies. A traditional kothropita, which is a meat pie with ewe, and a sweet cake.
The lucky winners this year were our cook, Kostas and the wife of our photographer Mina!
