Lake Avithos or Akoli - Kefalonia..
Close to Saint Nicholas village it is located the small mysterious lake. The legend was talking about a lake with not bottom.
Finally in 1995 after diving and using sonar equipment from the surface the famous Greek diver Kostas Thoktaridis found out the the bottom of the lake is only 11 meters.
We still want to dive the lake and see the beauty of this unique location with our own eyes.
