Kalypso Star is a specifically manufactured, trimaran cruise ship, with large undersea windows in its central hull, that offer a panoramic view of the ocean floor. The windows are built to guarantee maximum safety, constructed from aluminium and an unbreakable, transparent material and are also monitored by state of the a

rt safety instruments. It follows a route that takes us behind the island of VIDO and all the way around and to the other side of Corfu town, to the infamous PONTIKONISI (Mouse Island). The ship’s capacity is 49 individuals. During the cruise, the passengers are able to enjoy the beauty of the ocean floor and the plethora of marine organisms that live in it, accompanied by imposing music. While behind Vido island, the ship makes a short stop while divers offer a unique show, swimming between the fish, feeding them and showing the passengers various species of the local undersea fauna, like starfish, octopuses, lobsters and more. Moving on, the cruise takes us around the island, where a Serbian mausoleum lies. We sail close enough in order to admire the Old Fortress, bay of Garitsa, the old windmill, the baths and the summer palace of MON REPOS, the beautiful coastline, until we reach the temple of Panagia Vlahernon and the infamous Pontikonisi. Finally, just before the return to the old port, we can admire the full view of the old town, along with the palace, Faliraki and the New Fortress. The ship departs daily, every one and a half hours. Additionally, there will be a night time cruise, aided by the special headlamps installed on the ship.

The ship KALYPSO STAR has a capacity of 49 individuals and carries out undersea cruises, one hour in duration, embarking from the OLD PORT near the centre of CORFU TOWN.
During the cruise, the passengers are able to enjoy the beauty of the ocean floor and the plethora of marine organisms that live in it, accompanied by imposing music.
While behind Vido island, the ship makes a short stop and our diver offers a unique show, feeding the fish, swimming among them and showing the passengers various species of the local marine life.
Moving on, the cruise takes us around the island, where a Serbian mausoleum lies. We sail close enough in order to admire the Old Fortress and the most beautiful part of CORFU TOWN. The area where “The DURRELLS “ series was filmed with the Palace, the mansion of the first governor of Greece Kapodistrias, the house of national poet Solomos , Faliraki cape and the New Fortress.
The ship departs daily, approx. every hour. Additionally, there will be a night time cruise, aided by the special headlamps installed on the ship.
